A few years ago we stayed at PORiverside and our Room Key and Park Tickets were on one card per person.
This year we are Renting DVC points at SSR.
How do I get the same ticket / room key arrangement?
If I bought tickets from somwhere like undercover I guess I would recieve a paper ticket ( for about $30 less than WDW )???
Using WDW website they offer will call or to send you a ticket.
Not a huge deal but I would prefer to only have one card for tickets and room key.

Thanks for any info..

You can have your ticket encoded onto your room key at the resorts concierge window. You can have it encoded no matter where you purchase the ticket, but only tickets that have not been used can be transferred to the room key.

Oh I had the same question. As a guest renting points for SSR can I buy tickets when I get to SSR and have them on the room key? I was not sure if it is complicated because I am not the dvc owner?

Yep, you can purchase your park tickets at the resort when you check in. Except for Annual and Premium Annual passes. Those must be purchased on-line or at Guest Services at the parks or DTD.

Am I correct that I can pay for the park tickets when I check in and they will add the tickets to my room key?
This way I dont have to worry about the tickets, just buy them when I get there.
Also If I have an unused ticket I prebought from anyone, like undercover, Disney will add that ticket to my room key???

If thats the case I just have to decide if I want to prebuy my ticket maybe saving the $30 or dont worry about the ticket and pay Disney price when I check in..

Hope I have this right now.
Thanks

If you add your ticket to your room key, what happens with any extra no expiration days at the end of the stay? Do you keep that room key, or does disney issue you a paper ticket for what is left?

You need to keep that room key until you use it up. It can't be retransferred to a stand alone ticket. Make sure you note on it how many days you have left before you forget.

Can you re-use the same room key for your next stay, instead of having to keep up with your new room key, and the one with the leftover tickets?

what is undercover? is it another place to buy park tickets?

In my case the tickets will expire. I will use up the 5 days anyway...

I'm leaning towards waiting and buying from disney at checkin..

Nope, on your next stay, you'll have a room key for your room and the old room key with your tickets on it. The old room key is dated and good only for those dates. They can't erase the back of the room key to reuse it.
