I am planning a trip for the second week of December. The family includes me and wife, both 33, daughters of 4,2, and 3 months.
We stayed at a cabin in Feb, without newborn and it was awesome. I am looking for other options that might be just as roomy and priced the same. Think we can get the cabin this year for approxiamtely $150. Can use the AP or Fla resident discounts.
Does anyone have any suggestions????

Thanks in advance,
Carolina Boy

Before I go and seem like an idiot on the rent boards, i'll act liek an idiot here. Which rooms would I be looking for to rent that would accomodate my family. Also, how would I go about making my request known on the boards?

Thanks,
Kevin

Since just about all the DVC resorts are booked now until the end of the year, you might be able to find someone with a reservation that they are trying to sell. Asking someone to get you something that fits your needs would be next to impossible since most of the resorts have waitlists and they probably are not adding anyone to the existing waitlists.

You would be able to fit your family in a studio (might be a bit crowded, though) or a one bedroom. An OKW studio would give you two queen sized beds. Other studios would give you one queen sized bed and one double sleeper sofa. One bedrooms will give you one king sized bed and one sleeper sofa. You will also get a full sized kitchen and washer and dryer with the one bedroom. With the studio you get a microwave, undercounter refrigerator and use of a washer and dryer located elsewhere at the resort.

Go look and see if anyone has a reservation to rent for the time you want to go.

Do you need the kitchen? I don't think you'll find any DVC units for the price fo the cabins. Have you considered a room at the Poly? It is such a convenient resort for someone with young kids. I'm going in Jan with my 4 1/2 year old, 3 year old and 11 1/2 month old.

Your family can go in any Disney room as your infant doesn't count. So you don't need a room for 5. I stayed at a studio at the BWV and I found it small for just 2 adults.
