Room Charges

We were in Disney in April, stayed at the All Star Music Resort. When I checked in, I put my debit card on file for our room charges.

We checked out April 16th and my charges still aren't showing up on my checking account.
Is this normal, do they take awhile after your check out date to figure out all the room charges?

It seems a long time for them to take my money!

1) If you have Express Checkout, the charges are applied 4:00am-6:00am before checkout.
2) So, in your case
. . . you might not have had Express Checkout
. . . the amount to be charged was too large for the debit card
3) In either case, expect a letter in the mail to collect the money owed.
4) Disney ALWAYS gets their money.

NOTE: Usually, back office people try to take several small amounts at a time. This way, large daily amounts not allowed by the card will go through. However, this practice is frowned upon by management and some just wait for the letters to go out.
