hello,

We are a family of four that booked at cat 12, and i just noticed we are on deck 1 in room 1043, but i am confused as to what kind of room this is? Is it a cat 11/12, or a 10? From the disney site it seems like it as deluxe inside stateroom with a split bath but i am not sure....does any one know?

thanks,

Go to disneycruiseline.com

Find the virtual ship tour. Select deck one and you can find your room.

I just reread your post and it looks like you already did this. I agree with your assessment.

There was a list at one point of staterooms that people had stayed in and their feedback. I was looking for it. Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.

Room 1043 is a Cat 10 room.

Cat 12's do not sleep 4 people, so congrats on your free upgrade!

Thank you all on the replies. i was getting confused as i did check the disney site and based on that i think it is a cat 10, with the split washroom.

Looks like a cat 10 to me...... the cabins on deck one are all either category 9 or 10.

Congrats on your upgrade!

The DCL website is quirky as we all know....one of its quirks is that the website will still show your original category that you booked even if you have been upgraded to another category....so you may have a room number that is in a different category than what you booked, but the website still shows original category....confusing....I know!!!!

The reason they do not change the original category you booked is because that way they know where you began. It is quite possible...and has happened and been reported on the board...that DCL can upgrade you weeks before the cruise and then when you check in at the port you will find that you have been moved back to the original category. I think keeping that number in tact allows them to ensure that they do not drop you to a category lower than what you actually paid for.

Yep, we stayed in cabin 1043 on the Wonder in April. It is a category 10 and a great location. ENJOY :thumbsup2
