Room availability in december

[FUNROVER]

I am looking to rent points for a studio at BWV or BCV for a trip December 10-17. I have been told that this is an exceptionally difficult time to get reservations at either of those 2 locations. Is there any way to find out availability for that time without bothering an owner to check? I would be happy to inquire myself if I could. Am I able to check myself and if so, how do I go about it. Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
