Room assignments August REPO

I booked our cruise about 2 months in advance and immediately received a stateroom number (Cat.9, deck 2). I was surprised to be able to get what I wanted at the last minute, since I was told that Cat. 9, deck 2 rooms are very popular, and the best bargains on the ship. It's over July 4 too! Guess I was lucky????Who knows???

I'm sure your July 4 cruise filled quickly but the August repo cruise sold out in 3 1/2 days!! and we are just filling in the "empty spots" now

Hello I booked through dreams on the first day May 5th last year, for the repo however not knowing the prices I went for a Cat 8, and had a stateroom number given.

Fairly quickly I decided as the dollar pound rate was good to find out about an upgrade and made a tentative enquiry about a CAT 4, nearly by return I was offered a Cat 4 guarantee, on the same price band difference when I booked so I took it.

Now I know there are fewer Cat 4s so it might take time to assign a room, but I was hoping that by the 60 day mark people would have either paid up or cancelled.

They often say guaranteed rooms have more chance of an upgrade, however they are very few Cat 3, rooms, Cat 1 & 2 are very unlikely, so its down to one Cat 4 coming available.

Getting a bit worried as we come from the UK and have everything booked around the cruise, open jaw flights accommodation etc., I am sure it would be OK, but look every day for that room number.

Might ask Dreams to have a look at it for me.

I asked dreams and they plan to finnish all of the room assignments within the next 14 days, however they say you cannot check by telephoning them direct.
