Room Assignment Question

We have a Boardwalk View Studio ressie beginning Saturday. My question is do they assign your room a couple days before you get there or is it a game day decision?

If they assign them early, can MS tell you what room you'll be in prior to your arrival?

It's up to the front desk if they pre-assign the rooms or assign at check-in. They will not release the room # to you until it is ready for occupancy.

It depends on whether you're on the DVC CM's Giant Cranky Owner List.

My latest understanding is that it's primarily pre-assigned, with "room ready" considerations possible.
