Room and tickets separate???

We are staying at Art of Animation in a suite. I've booked the room only. I'll be purchasing tickets separate as my parents are coming for part of the trip. If I link the room reservation to MDE & then link the tickets to MDE, can I still make my fp+ reservations 60 days prior to the first use since I'm on site?

You can book all FPs 60 days prior to your AoA check-in date. It doesn’t matter which day is your 1st day of park entry, your booking is based on resort check-in date.
