Has anyone stayed in this room lately on the Disney Wonder?
Do you feel alot of motion,is it quiet? We have never had an ocean view room on deck 2 before, just hoping it's a good one. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks:goodvibes

Ummm... 2515 isn't an oceanview room. It's an inside room.

We love deck 2 rooms on the Wonder. We haven't stayed that far forward, however. Closest to that location we've been was 2554.

Thanks very much! Do you get a good look at the ocean?

Yes. It's a large porthole window. About 4' across.

2514 is OceanView, 2515 is Inside.

I think it depends on what direction the window is facing. But yes you do see water when away from port.

One thing that confuses me is when the Wonder is in the main port. In Vancouver, you get on the Starboard side and not the Port side. I assume this allows for more space at guest services and allows them to more easily announce your family name as you head to the restaurants for lunch.

However instead of looking at the ocean... the starboard side has a great view of the dock above you.

Motion wise... I think you get less motion compared to the decks above that can sway like a pendulum in open waters.

With regards to nose... the room is beneath Diversions, but you get less traffic outside the room from people who enjoy taking walks inside the ship.

Thank you, is Diversions loud?

Well, sort of. It's the sports bar, so, depending on who's playing and how involved the people watching are, you could hear some foot stomping.

It's not a loud as Wavebands. We were underneath that for one cruise, and, truthfully, it wasn't as bothersome as I had been led to believe. Yes, you could, on occasion, hear the bass from the music, or maybe foot stomping (depending on the music), but it didn't really go on into the night. DCL is pretty much an "early to bed" cruiseline.

How late does the noise go to? I normally sleep at midnight or 1am. I find everything goes quiet at that time.

Just make sure that closet door is velcro locked!!!! Otherwise it sounds like a bowling alley with the door sliding back and forth in the waves! Learned that the hard way the first night.

We stayed in this room last November. We had zero issues with noise. We loved the location. It was quiet, low traffic, and the sound of the ocean was calming.
