We have made our ADR's for dinner for our entire stay but were wondering some of the most romantic of all WDW restaurant's other than Victoria and Albert's? It's our honeymoon, so romance is key

5 years ago my hubby and I enjoyed a honeymoon dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. We were there right at the fireworks, it was very romantic. The CMs found out it was our honeymoon and they had confetti and streamers on the table. Plus they gave us a gift of 2 champagne flutes. Of course all these extras aren't guaranteed, but even if you don't get any extras it is a unique and romantic place to eat. At the time we went dinner wasn't a character meal (I'm not sure if they have characters there at night now or not). Also, since we ate fairly late there were few children and it was pretty quiet. Have a wonderful honeymoon!

Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian is lovely - set out over the Seven Seas Lagoon facing towards the Magic Kingdom and they have a very good seafood menu.

Bistro Paris in Epcot was also lovely and much more intimate than any WDW restaurant we've eaten at, other than V&A. The food was incredible - I'd say on par with V&A - and the service was excellent.

Jiko, at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, is also very nice but there seem to be a lot more small children dining there than I would normally expect, given their menu. While this doesn't exactly lend itself to "typical" romance, the lodge is beautiful and the food and service at the restaurant is great.

Romance is what you make it. Hope you have a lovely honeymoon! :goodvibes

Well-you are going to find kids at every other spot. If you mean "quiet", we've found the most quiet spots to be Blue Zoo (on non-convention nights), Citricos, and the Bistro D' Paris. The "wine room" at California grill can also be relatively quiet--if you happen to be there when there aren't any kids.

Here are our ADR's

Citrico's
Narcoosee's
Le Cellier
Coral Reef
Flying Fish Cafe
California Grill

I'm considering switching out one of those for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. If I do, which would you switch??

The only reason I would want to keep Coral Reef is because DF LOVES aquariums. Plus, I called ahead and have planned for a diver to hold up a sign for him and I ordered customized menu's. So.... maybe I'll change Le Cellier to Cinderella's Royal Table.

A few years back DH and I got a table at Jikos right in front of the window. It was so very pretty. During dinner we got a Florida downpour and watching the rain fall on the water of the pond and the leaves sway was sooooo romantic. Add in a couple of glasses of wine and WAMMO romance

Some might disagree but I think Artist's Point is very romantic, especially at night.

Bistro De Paris
Narcoossee's
Artist Point
Jiko (or so we're hoping for our upcoming trip...it's the one night we'll have without our kids.) ::MinnieMo

we love calif. grill. We just got back today from Our 25th wedding annv. trip. We go every year for our anv. and that is where we have dinner. Check in early and ask for a window seat and make sure you go on a night with fireworks. You can watch them from the roof top.

Too bad.... would be awesome.... But we are at POR and have VERY limited room service.... I guess we could try to make pizza and burgers romantic!!

It ain't the food that makes it romantic, it's the setting, attire or lack thereof :cool1: :lmao: that you dine in, and the "EXTRA" side dishes during the meal. Finally dessert should top the evening off and I'm partial top Whipped Cream and Cherries:goodvibes

You have three seafood choices, so I'd switch one of them. I read that you have to keep Coral Reef based on the fun surprise you have planned, so I'd look over the menus at Narcoosee's and Flying Fish Cafe and choose between them. Le Cellier is a hard-to-get reservation, so I'd keep it.

I hate to even suggest this on a WDW board but here goes.

How about choosing one of the fabulous restaurants that cater to dining without all of noise or crowds? We eat off site quite a lot due to the crowds and menu changes and found Ruth Chris's and other restaurants to be more celebratory friendly.

If you are not do not have your own car and do not plan on renting a cae while you are at WDW I have found that catching a taxi or hiring a car service is not unreasonable.
