Romantic meal for two on honeymoon

Try Artist Point, but only after 8:30 p.m. Jiko is nice as well, but we've been there when it's been crowded and very noisy even at 10 p.m. (it was Jersey Week, which we now avoid).

California Grill is out, unless you eat after the fireworks and request the wine room. Same with Narcoosee's -- eat after the fireworks, if possible. We've had lovely meals at Yachtsman Steakhouse, but again go late. If you like steak, Shula's has the best steak on property, IMO, but we've never found it to be quiet or romantic there. It's always packed with conventioneers getting drunk as fast as they can.

Best advice -- pick a signature restaurant and don't go before 8:30 p.m. 9 p.m. is even a safer bet.

We ate at Le Cellier and found it to be rather quiet. We had our children with us, but its a low lighting, subdued atmosphere and we (and people around us) kept our children calm and quiet. I did not notice anyone else's conversations. And were REALLY enjoyed our food (steaks, appetizers, creme brulee'). Check out the menus too when deciding where you'll go. You can stare into each other's eyes anywhere, but if youre spending money, you'll want to enjoy the food too.
PS Congrats!

If you don't want to spend Victoria and Albert bucks, I have another vote for Bistro (although you could work your way up to V&A $$ with not too much trouble), we were there for Valentine's Day and there very few kids (might have been the holiday) and it was very romantic and our meals were delicious. The last time we were at Jiko, we sat next to family of three. It was very sad, the husband was arguing with his wife about why he had to come to Disney World and then became so drunk and passed out and the wife had to ask the cast members for a wheelchair. They couldn't find an available one and the young son started crying and the wife had to take the little boy up to the room. So we ate the rest of our dinner sitting next to a man slumped back in his chair snoring. He was still there when we left. Now that I think about it, why didn't we ask to move? Anyway, Chef Mickey would have been more romantic that night...

The WolfGang Puck Cafe!

My new wife and I went on the first night of our honeymoon at WDW this April. We requested a table on the patio next to the lake. The sun was setting and the temp was perfect. The food was to die for. To tell you the truth this place ruined the rest of our food at WDW because we compared everything to WolfGang and nothing was as good. I would highly recommend it. Inside was kind of noisy but the patio was very, very romantic and we have already planned to return on every future trip.
