Rolling back packs in parks ?

I saw some recently.
But it would seem to me that it would be an awfully big hassle to have to drag it around.

I had read here that Disney discourages things that are pulled behind you - such as wagons and coolers, but I have to say that in the past two weekends in particular I have seen many rolling backpacks!

Officially, they are not allowed.

You are not to have anything (other than children ;) ) that you drag BEHIND you.

Wheeled units must be PUSHED ahead of you, like strollers.

I've been told Disney does not allow anything you pull behind you (wagons, large coolers, rolling backpacks) into the parks because they are a tripping hazard.

However, I've seen some rolling backpacks in the parks recently. I suspect the owners were wearing them "backpack style" at entry so security didn't realize they were on wheels.

I think Disney really should crack down on them. They are a huge menace to fellow guests because they are easy to overlook in a crowd and thus easy to trip over. I know someone who tripped over another person's rolling backpack (not at Disney) and has permanent disabilities from the resulting injuries.

Thanks, everyone, for the input. I'll probably just stuff everything into my camera case. I sure wouldn't want to cause anyone to injure themselves. :thumbsup2
