As far as this coaster, I'm glad that BG is getting a big coaster. We enjoyed walking around the park, but didn't feel that there were a lot of rides. Enough to keep us happy for a day, but we preferred Hershey Park to BG. I think this will be a nice addition. But Water Country was our favorite water park.

I think BG is great for their coasters and I used to love it when they had more shows. But I hate that there isn't as much for the kiddies (of course i didn't notice that until I had mine tagging along ruining my chances to ride the coasters ) I love the Land of the Dragons for the kids.

I agree Water Country is great. We didn't make it this summer Hopefully next year we will make sure to go! gotta get our money's worth!

The only coaster that ever gave me headaches was the one at BG that they removed a few years ago and gave to someone else. I don't remember the name but it banged me around so bad i thought I had whiplash!

That was DrachenFire and it was the absolute worst coaster I've ever ridden! I think it was either designed poorly or built poorly...too much banging around!

Oh, and you all can hijack this thread all you like! I enjoy reading the banter.

Plus, I think this is the first thread I've posted that's gone over 1 page!

hey now wait just one darn minute!! I was sitting here posting last night in my non mom jeans with a cute untucked waist length shirt!! I thought I was doing good last night!!

DrachenFire...thats it. I knew it was two words! And yep the worst coaster. i thought I was the only that felt that way until it closed then I knew I wasn't *that* strange

Oh and I can talk about migraines too....I have them but can't take any of hte good stuff because they (according to my quack) aren't good for people who have a history of heart problems in their family....I do. So i stick to ExcedrinPM, Tramadol, and Fiorinol(without the aspirin), and sometimes just for kicks I mix all three and that seems to work pretty well

I can talk about migraines...I get them once in a while. I'm lucky though, I can usually just take a couple of advil and a nap and I'm okay.

What I really like are those perky's SD was taking a few weeks ago! WOO-HOO!!! I need to get me some more of those!

I have perky's... I didn't know it, but I do. Well, they're not really mine, but my DD was given generic when she had her wisdom teeth taken out and I told her she couldn't take the rest to college with her. I was so excited when I realized that it was percocet. I need to make sure she didn't take them--I told her that I would fight her for them. I'll probably never get up the nerve to take them and if I do, I hope I don't try to have Rick's baby.

YEAH BABY!!!!!! I can't wait for this! I love a good coaster. Apollo's Chariot is my favorite because it's so smooth. Dh and DSis refuse to ride it anymore though. Obi, Dh says the 4 of us will have to go to BG because he won't ride with me and I'll need a companion. I'm with you. I say DIS MEET!!! I'd even smuggle in some of my world famous chocolate chip cookies.

I doubt it'll be open for passholder preview though. It says opening late spring which I take to mean Memorial Day-ish. Passholder preview is usually mid March.

This is off topic, too, but my 12yo is already eating lunch. He's afraid that I'll eat the pesto leftovers if he doesn't get to them first. I just finished my morning coffee and now I have to smell pesto.

Can we say plans for Memorial Day weekend? If those of you who are local want to meet before then, that's fine. I know that Tara will come visit me! I'm bumping my BG Tampa Golds upto the Platnium for that trip.

Tara, my sister was on a Lidocaine nasal inhaler for migraines right after being diagnosed with heart issues. Lemme check to see what she uses now and pass the info on to you.

oh and Drachen Fire is completely gone. They used the space this summer for concerts. i saw some of Trick Pony htere a couple of weeks ago!
