February weather is pretty unpredictable. The "average" highs are in the 70's, for what that's worth. lol It can be quite warm or quite cool, especially after the sun sets and in the mornings.

I see you are from WI, so you will probably think it's warm enough to swim. LOL I'm sure my boys will be swimming (the pools are heated)! When you consider what you'll be leaving behind...even temps in the 60's will feel downright tropical...LOL :sunny:

P.S. My college roommate (when I lived in Orlando) was from Milwaukee.

We've always gone in February and we've always used the pools. I would suggest bringing hooded sweatshirts for the CHILLY walks back to the room.

Me! DH, Grandson and Granddaughter. WL February 11-15 then over to Cocoa Beach for the week.

This will be my first lodge visit and I'm very excited.

As far as swimming, we were there last year and Grandchildren swam every day. They even swam when we returned for the parks at night a little chilly but the pools are heated. Coming from the frozen north even 60's are warm.

We will be at WL 2-6 through 2-15. It will be me, dh, ds 3, ds 4mos., and for first half of our trip our friends will be staying at WL too! This is my longest trip and first trip at a deluxe (except for last year at the Swan). So excited! DH thinks I'm crazy because I can't stop talking about it!:earsboy:

Hey DisneyDmbNut
Mommy/Daughter trips are great at Disney. I've taken my dd myself several times. How old is your dd? We'll be there during the same time in Feb. (5th-8th), but we'll be staying at the Swan.

We'll be at ASM from 1/31-2/6. It's our first time on Disney property and we can't wait!!

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

I have my ressies for Pop Century Feb 21-28th. It started out as me, DH and 3 DS, 17, 13 (turns 14 on the trip) and 11. (not to fear, we booked 2 rooms! LOL ). Now my mother-in-law wants to join us (last time she was there EPCOT wasn't even built!!!:earseek: ) My Mom and Dad decided to come down to join us for a long weekend and my brother, his wife and 2 kids may come too! :grouphug:
This is going to be fun!

Hey!
My dd will be 6 on Feb 25th. This is her birthday trip each year. We are going to be going up next Saturday (22nd) for the day ...I think I just need a Disney Christmas fix...where do you live? I grew up in Coconut Creek and now live in Boynton Beach..on the east coast

This is the first Disney trip for us:hyper: !
We will be staying at all star sports from Feb 4th through 9th.

Wendy

We will be at Pop Century from Jan. 31- Feb. 8th. This will be our first family trip, dh and dd's have never been. I went every other year as a child, but have not been since Animal Kingdom and Disney Studios have been built. I am so excited I could just burst! My counter makes me even more excited!! We are getting closer!!LOL!!

We'll be there from Feb. 1st - Feb. 8th staying at BWV and another resort for the weekend, that still has to be booked but I'm waiting for AP rates to come out. Come on out AP rates!!!

As far as weather, we were there last Feb during the first week and were able to swim most days! Okay now the lifeguards were all bundled up in jackets and pants but all of us from the north just thought it was delightful! We also wore shorts most days too. We're hoping for similiar weather this year!!!!!!! But I also bring pants and sweaters in case the weather is colder.

Hope everyone has a nice February vacation!

Hi everyone! I am trying to make plans for my trip to Disney. I was thinking that I would go from April 20-25, but my mom is wanting to go in the value season Jan-Feb sometime. I was a little worried about the weather, I don't want it to be too cold. I have a 4 year old and a baby, she will be a year on January 24. How are the crowds in February? I see that some of you are going in what is considered peak season.....will you have to fight huge crowd you think? We have been only one time and that was October 2002. I would really like to go between January and May sometime. I just can't decide!

Thanks
Kim

I think (or have read) that February is not bad...except for President's Week :crowded: We are going 2/8-2/12 and running home before the big crowds descend. Anyone with more 'February Experience'?

We were actually there last February from the Thurs before President's Day until Mon. President's day. The only time we found difficult was finding a full service restaurant to eat at on Friday night which was Valentine's day.

The crowds at the parks were not bad. The weather was really nice, even a little chilly some nights. Very enjoyable time of year to go although I think we left just as the crowds got heavier.

We plan to go the weekend prior to President's Day weekend this year.

Hey... I was there too!!!
That was my last night in the World...Hmm...don't remember what we did that night...I was kinda out of it...after a week alone with my DD...it was quite enough!!

Crowds are super light in the first week if Feb..I usually go the first week...cool weather, not real cold and no lines to really speak of..April will be PACKED with Spring breakers!

Easter is the second week of April this year as well.
