We will be a Pop Century from 2/7 - 2/12. We hope to be gone just as the crowds start picking up.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. I think we may go ahead and go in Feb. this year. I can't wait! Am I too late to get reservations for the breakfast at the castle? The last time, we couldn't get in either. We had breakfast at magic kingdom with winnie the pooh and my daughter loved it. I just know she would really like Cinderella....my little girl is dressed like a princess every day after school!

DisneyMom- I have reservations for that same time frame at Pop Century but I've been debating switching to a FW cabin, a Villa at WL or OKW. What have you heard about the FW cabins?

CanesFan and Dismom...My dd(5) and I will be there with my mom on Feb2-6th at the Lodge...Maybe we will see each other on the boat..I will have a DIS green Mickey tag on..look for me!!

I love reading all the replies of when people are going... I started this thread awhile back I wanted to pop back in and say I am also a Mom of 5 disney fans and taking our little boy for the first time. I have 4 DD and we had our first boy on June 12, 2003. I had a lot of complications with my pregnancy and I was in the hospital for months before I delivered. My DD and DH would talk about how we wished we were back in WDW. I am so excited about our upcoming trip. We will be staying at the Dolphin in a Jr. Suite on Club level. I have found it hard to save up $ for our trip with Christmas coming. How do you budget your trip with the holidays? February cannot come soon enough.

I use my tax refund... I file the forst day that you can and get my refund Direct Deposit..I usually get it the week before I go to Disney....

Plan on getting another "souviner" this year???LOL... I would stay away if that were me!!! LOL

I have heard great things about the cabins. Everyone seems to love them.Fort Wilderness Cabins pictures
We are looking forward to staying there. With the Visa Kid's stay and Play free deal, it was quite reasonable and we plan on cooking a couple of meals and most breakfasts.


We will be a family with a readheaded mom w/glasses (unless I buy a different box next time, lol), a tall, dark haired big dad, a brown haired 9 yodd, three blonde boys age 7, 4, and 2, and a fat 10 mo. light fuzzy haired baby girl, and most likely we will have a brightly colored double stroller with us.

It will be my mom and me and my DD(5). She usually rides in her BumbleBee Stroller(yellow and black)...we usually take the boat to Magic Kingdom...I am getting more excited each day!

January 31 - February 10. Right now at POR but have been watching for AP rates to upgrade to WL (as watchers of that thread full know) ... DH told me today to check the AAA rates and possibly we will upgrade a few nights to WL anyway on the chance (horrors) that no AP rates come out.

We can't wait - it's getting so cold up here and I can't wait to feel the FL sunshine!!!

Based on comments of thread posters and the wdwig site, I've opted to spend more to stay at FW - I think my 5 yo would enjoy the campfire, sing-along and petting zoo. Cancelled my Disney Visa package reservation and booked directly through CRO with the AAA discount (and for those who were wondering, cabins only get a 15% discount, rather than the 20% offered to those booking campsites)- ahhhh, it's nice to not have to worry about paying in full by mid-December.

For the record, I'll be the auburn haired commando with the tortoise shell glasses - my son is the unbearably cute and insufferably chatty boy who will likely be chasing ahead of me at every turn. We'll be there from 1/31 - 2/04 - possibly longer if AP codes are ever released.

I just booked AKL for Feb 1-4. We are doing a trip to look for a house and a job.....and I just HAD to book a stay since those AP rates are so low.
