Hi guys! Wow, did I ever have a bad weekend! Couldn't get on to check the board. The computer has had an overhaul and is working great.

Two out of two sick. Ted has it now. I do have to speak up for the ship. This is the first time out of three that we got sick. I just think it is going around at home, we all brought it with us and in the confined area of the ship, we shared.

How's Katie and Ben, Lori? Been thinking about calling you but hate to disturb the family.

Thanks Bonnie and Susan for the pics. Love them. Keep them coming Bonnie if you want!

Sally, glad no one got sick in your family. With Jaymee being sick when you left, one would think she would have shared with the rest of you!!

Welcome home, Krista. You are another one that I only saw at the wine party. I guess that shows how big the ship actually is! I kind of think that without kids that we do different things than those of you with kids. I agree with Bonnie, that it made the trip. Every once in awhile running across someone you knew. However, we saw a lot of the Dudettes and became their personal travel agents.

We, too, heard about the surveys and how important they were and to make sure that everything was marked excellent. We handed their tips to them on the last night. In the morning, their attitude changed. Either they aren't morning people or they didn't like what we gave them. We even tipped OVER the suggested amount. We loved them. They were wonderful throughout the entire trip until the disembarkation breakfast. Oh well, they'll get over it.

I remember the chant of Lori's name in St. Maarten. I enjoyed it, did you, Lori? With the 3 dudettes, Ted, Ben and myself yellling at you, you couldn't help but hear your name being called.

Yes indeed you did become our personal travel agents! We were only going to shop in St. Maarten until Jeanne said you were going to Dawn's beach and we thought that's a good idea!

St Thomas-Magan's Bay was in the back of our minds but we thought shopping then the sky tram. When we heard Magan's Bay we said why not? We had already shopped in St. Maarten.

I have to thank you a lot also for the guidance-we had a wonderful time! I can't wait to see the rolling in the surf pictures. What a sight that must have been to all not involved.
I hope Ted feels better. Take plenty of zinc, vit. c and eccynecia It helped me.

I think Perditta knows she is going to "Aunt Ri Ri's" tonight for my trip. It must be the suitcase thing.

I won't check in after tonight until Thus. night so keep it going until Darren checks in.

HI ALL! Sorry we haven't been around lately. My grandmother from Florida was up visiting so my computer time was very limited. BUT I'M BAACCKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, the sick mini roll.... Garry & Julie 3 out of 4 sick! I was the only one who didn't get sick from the trip, BUT now I'm ill with a sinus infection which ALWAYS turns into bronchitis (sp). YUCK!

Krista, glad to see you made it home safe and sound. I too had sea legs after ther trip and it made for an interesting few days at the world!

We took Makenzie to see Santa Clause 2 last night and it was real cute! Now all she talks about is Santa Claus, Mickey's boat, the ball (EPCOT), and when she sees the pics on the computer - her friend Bonbon and why isn't she eating dinner with us. She watches our video of the trip at least 3 times a day! It really makes me want to go back NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schrolls (ie Susan) I will send you our email address so please look for it. I still haven't gotten my pics back, but as soon as I do, I will send them out! So, If anyone wants pics, let me know!

I really miss all of you! Laurie thanks for the "big guy sitting", everytime I am waiting for an elevator I look around for Sandy and Ted, seeing Denine and Jerry after dinner, Lori and the gang when walking on deck, Diana on Castaway Cay, Susan catching the run away Makenzie ....................I could go on and on but I'd take up at least 9 pages or so.
AND for those of you who stayed at the wine party ...........The Big Guy trying to taste the wine via the deck!!!!

I starting to have some fond memories of the trip today! I'll never be able to say it was worth it, but I hope to go again one year (when we are all very strong), and have a wonderful time with no bad memories attached. I'm even nervous about sending Katie to a half day of school tomorrow. I'll get over it soon, I'm sure.

Hi Lori! It's like old times with the two of us up late! We went to the Browns game today and we were telling the people that we go with about the trip and all of you! Boy did I want to be back on the ship!

I hope all goes well with Katie tomorrow and her half day. I'm sure it will be fine! Just tell her her disney family wishes her the best and to take it nice and slow! Please let us know how it goes! I'll be thinking of her and you tomorrow!

Good morning. Still haven't finished packing and I have to leave in an hour. Have to call a cab to the train station since I can't leave my car there for 4 days or they'll tow. Of course if they did it wouldn't be a terrific loss.

Well it looks like I lost 8 of the 10 lbs I gained but I may gain again with this little jaunt to DC. Eating out is what gets me. Then I go into see food eat it diet mode.

Since you are now gone (and won't see this until you get back), hope you had a good time in DC Bonnie.

Thought we were winding down on the sickness and now Lianna has a temp, cold and cough. It really is going around up here due to the weather changes so probably can't blame this on the ship. Last time we went (in 2000) I did have 3 of 6 sick so this didn't surprise me. Luckily for us, we have no asthma (although Annika does get asthma symptoms with her colds sometimes and we do have a neubulizer machine and inhalers). Nothing like poor Katie!

It sure would put a BIG DAMPER on the trip! I hope you really can remember and see the good times Lori! And I'd probably wait awhile to go again if I were you! You must have sensed something was going on at Castaway as you didn't seem to be overly enamored with the cruise when I talked to you there. Or that's what it seemed to me anyway.

Hopefully as the kids get older they will grow out of the severe asthma? I don't know, just asking!
Will be thinking of Katie today! When Ian was 8 he got such a severe case of chicken pox he was in the children's hospital in downtown Toronto for 10 days and home care for 3 days so going back to school was tough. Mom and Dad are worried about germs and the kids are nervous about seeing every one! At least Ian was. So you are in our thoughts and prayers today.

Off to pick up Annika from preschool. Later......

Ian and his chicken pox. Poor boy! Heard of bad cases but nothing like that.

Our daughter HAD epilepsy. Sending her to preschool was a tough one! After two airlifts and two ambulance rides, we finally calmed down. I say HAD wth happiness. She outgrew it.

Gotta get off the computer, that daughter with epilepsy and her twin needs the computer to register classes for college. See, it looks bad when they are little but they grow up and everything is fine.

Wanted to at least check in and report all is well unless depression counts! I want to be back on the ship sooooo bad. Last night I said "well as of now, our trip is officially over a week ago My ever optimistic husband said "no, our next one is one week closer!"

Everyone take care and get better. I hope this thread stays on for a long time. I haven't had a lot of free time since getting back but I have kept up with my reading.

DD#1 told me I had to hold up her end since she is on her business trip and I will try to do my best. I tried to catch up on the postings before posting but it took me soooo long. I went back three pages but I think I still had more I didn't read. Work interferes with keeping up with the boards!

I think I am the only Dudette who didn't get sick! I worked with Joyce alias DD#3 and she was starting to get sick yesterday. I refuse to use my PTO time for illness!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is safe & sound. It has been chilly in New Jersey. We are waiting for Darren to post to know he is home safe.

We had 1 of 3 sick, because Clare had a runny nose when it started. David still is stopped up and I am o.k. (knock on wood).

I didn't read the post about the surveys, but was thinking the same thing. Why let us rate them if all they want, or expect is an excellent.
Excellent is very much above par, for most people. It takes a lot to rate the top notch. Maybe they could put a category above excellent to even it out. Stupendous maybe.

We tipped the suggested amount and a little more to our steward and assistant server. We missed dinner 2 nights, so felt that it was sufficient. We saw our maitre'd or whatever on 1 night only.

Sun is finally shining here, but still chilly. Wishing everyone a Magical Day.

Just been busy trying to get rid of this cold I got on the cruise and a few other things. I can't believe I'm still hacking after all this time. It must of been a heck of a bug that we all caught.

We are in the mist of contract negotiations at work. I think one of the major sticking points for the city is my wanting the bicycle guys to start wearing black socks with their shorts. Some people have no fashion sense...

Anyways hello to everyone and best wishes for getting over all the ailments we have managed to amass.
