Denine: Maybe Garry and I can have a bon vogage party for you and your hubby before you set sail with THOSE people (ha ha they seem like a nice group, not as crazy and energetic as us, but nice). We'll bring the beer! 22 bottles of beer on the wall.......

Disney Magic hasn't seen anything until it meets US!!!!!!!!! I have a feeling that it will be very easy to tell our group at the terminal! Just look for the empty beer bottles!

Jeez, I miss one evening (cross country, hockey, moms dinner club) and I have to read 2 pages! Yes, I admit it, I stuck my head in on the 10/12's -- told them to take care of Denine & Jerry. I am NOT a traitor!!!!

My parents got their docs Tuesday so my group is set to sail!!!! Getting my formal dress altered tomorrow! (I have NO kids from 9-11:30am)

15 bottles, (I drank Savanho's too, although I think she'll need it after today) Lets see, were just about at the 3 weeks mark. What's on the agenda? I think I need to have the kids try on their dinner clothes and do any alterations now. Some were to long in the leg etc. last summer, but I thought I'd give them a little more time to grow before sewing,,, since I just LOVE to sew SO much.

All right, I need to vent to my nurse friends. We just had a 1-1/2 hour meeting yesterday on charting. I come in this morning to find two people with moist coughs, one with audible wheezes in her RLL. I am made to think that they are new developments. I go to give them both cough syrup and low & behold, one had been receiving it for 3 days and the other got some last night. Was any of it charted???? Noooooooo!!!!! I have a pet peeve about charting! I can assure you it is charted now and the MD called onthe one with the wheezes, but he doesn't want a CXR, just monitor her. He'll only do something if she becomes SOB. Ughhhhh!!!!!!!!! I love my job, I love my job, I love my job!!!!!!!!

How long till vacation???????

Bonnie: How did you get the horn for the e-mail notification? Jerry was trying to do it last night and it wouldn't let him. We have it as a wav file.

I'm getting a little further on that 4th grade Halloween party. Got a great game idea that I thought I'd share here, since you all gave me many other great ideas! I'm calling it the "Scarecrow Stuff" for lack of a better name. I'm going to split the room into 4 teams and give each team a bag of identical supplies. These will include newspaper, jeans, flannel shirt, boots, gloves, hat, balloon (for head), marker and twine. They are told to stuff the clothes, blow up the balloon, etc., and arrange everything into a scarecrow sitting in a chair, all within a time limit. They can use only twine and creativity to attach things. Then we'll get pictures of each team with their dude and after careful judging, each team Mom will vote for her own teams work, so we'll declare it a 4 way tie and they'll all win a prize. I even found some totally cute straw and fabric scarecrows on sticks at Hobby Lobby for 75% off. They are about 8" and were only 33 cents! That's the prize, and I had bought them before even knowing about this game idea. Weird huh? Well, that takes care of about 15 minutes, only 45 to go. (OK, snack and freeze dancing to a Monster Mash CD will fill some time up too.) I'll have a few extra games ready in case they need more direction, but I think they'd just love some unstructured time to socialize. I don't have a craft planned. What would 4th graders really like and be worthwhile? Any ideas?

Lori, how about having a bunch of "doors" (boxes) the kids cannot see into and putting tricks and treats in (candy and funny Halloween "stuff" - spiders - you get the idea) and they can go "trick or treating"? Put all different kinds of things in each box and just sit back and watch what they all get.

Called disney - they shipped them to travel agent on Friday the 20th. So, I called travel agent she said " It's too early for you to get your docs. You don't sail til the 19th." I said " Disney sent them to you on Friday. I want my docs NOW!" She put me on hold & went to check on them. They were mailded priority mail on Monday & I should get them today or tomorrow. Has anyone else recieved them in the mail. I personally think that is kind of dangerous. What is someone took them from your box or porch. They would have record of you signing.

Oh well! Now, can I get out of the office early & hunt down my postal guy. Wouldn't be too hard out village only has 450 people.
