I don’t make room requests but I’m wondering if I should start. Back in 2011-2016 ish we would regularly get a Savannah view room on our AKL value stays. Not always, but more than never. Since then we have consistently gotten parking lot view for the last 7-8 times we have had a value room. And have not seen a giraffe from our room in about a decade.
I had always thought they didn’t take requests for AKL value rooms but now I’m beginning to question myself.
I like the value room either way, but if I’m screwing myself by not making a request, I’d like to know.
