Just saw that someone on the 11/2 cruise got their docs.

I am going to stroke out if they don't arrive soon.

Just ordered tux for Gunner ( on ebay ) and did the rental for my Dad & DH. Can't wait to see all my favorite men all dressed up.

I wanted to put our little Garry into a tux, but e bay tuxes were starting at 3T and he is only in 2T but I'll keep looking. I did see some adorable suit outfits at Sears for him so if I can't get him a tux cheap those will do. I can't wait! I am ordering DH tux today!!!!!!!!!

55 bottles of beer on the wall, 55 bottles of beer. Take one down pass it around, 54 bottles of beer on the wall.

So BeanoC is spying on us!

Ask Bonnie (alias Disney Dudette #1) to tell you her hurricane story. Dudette #1 & I were in Disney World the only time the park closed. It all worked out for the best but you could say hurricanes are attracted to her.;)

DD1 & DD2 : was that hurricane Erin? Because we were there (I think that was the name of it). We were eating dinner at Cinderella's and we asked our server about the up coming storm. He told us that we were in the safest place in all of Florida because of the "tunnels" and in his 5 years of working there this was the first time they will filling sand bags. They made announcements that the parks would be closing early do the approaching storm. That is one thing I'll never forget. Anything that could be removed from the parks (ie garbage cans, carts, etc) were being removed as we were leaving. The two carts (one on each side of the main train station) were being bolted to the ground. This was in 1995. We were staying at the All Star Sports and they did a get job of keeping people calm. They had a board in the lobby with the details of the storm and keep the food court open later for those who wanted food or drinks. I remember the windows in the room shaking and water coming up under the door, but nothing else. The parks opened at 11:00 am the following day. They had to remove all the debris from the parks. When we did get into the parks, you could tell things were wind blown and some branches were still down but everything else was taken care of.

Paul (Schrolls), stop giving Susan a hard time. This is important for our sanity! It's cheaper than shopping and better for her than chocolate! :jester:

Laurie! That sounds great that Kristen will get to meet another 9er. I'm so jealous. I'm not even going to tell Katie, she'll just have to think that Kristen and Aly had 'just' met and really hit it off quick! No wonder you've been so quiet on the board, you guys have been PMing. Those really should count as posts here you know... oh well.

drdisney, what in the heck is Kon Tiki in St Thomas?

Beano rocks!

Hey Denine, if any of your 9/12 cruisers just don't want their soda mugs as they are leaving ...

Oh, speaking of goblets...
Do we all just hit up a bartender for wine glasses before coming to the party, or should someone bring a stack of clear plastics? I suppose I won't want to drink a whole glass of every wine there! Actually, the glass should be rinsed between samples. Hummm, have any of you been to a real wine tasting and know what works out best here?

53 bottles of beer on the wall, 53 bottles of beer.....

What are you talking about, Lori? This doesn't stop me from shopping. Just got back. Only thing I got for the trip was the bubble wrap.

Too bad all the girls couldn't meet up. But--Katie is such a friendly wonderful girl, I am sure she will fit right in.

Hi Beano, have a good trip!

Our tablemates from a couple of years ago told us about the WDW and the hurricane. Sounded pretty eerie. Heard Disney really took good care of everyone.

52 bottles of beer

Thanks for giving Paul your opinion. But, I AM going shopping this evening and I would eat chocolate 24/7 if given the oppotunity. Oh well!

You have to know, Paul is as excited as I am. He's the one who brought up wearing a tux in the first place. He also had me download the Magic's whistle to sounds on his computer. Yestarday, I had the whistle going off every time a window was closed!!!! He finally said I went a little overboard (no pun intended).

52 bottles of beer on the wall, 52 bottles of beer, take one down pass it around follow it with a shooter! I mean 51 bottles of beer on the wall!:smooth:

OK Susan, sounds like you've got it under control;) but anytime you need some backup, you just give us the word here, OK?

Hey good news. "Time is not fair. Part 16" by Hiddenhearth is on the trip report boards now. If anyone has not read his reports, go to number 1 and kick back for some enjoyable reading.

You know Bonnie ( I think it was you), I have been thinking about something you said one time. You said that you couldn't wait to meet us all and that you could tell by our posts what we are like. Unfortunately, you are going to find a completely different person in me. I am extremely shy. I will probably appear to be a b----, but believe me, just shy. Just wanted to warn all of you people. Don't want you to get the wrong impression.

I am editing this--nervous not shy.

Thanks Beano for adding to our post count!

50 bottles of beer on the wall...........

49 bottles of beer on the wall. 49 bottles of beer...........

Disney Dudette #1 and I (Disney Dudette #2) were staying at the Coronado (my least favorite Disney Resort) with two of the previous tryouts for Disney Dudette #3. Everyone from All Stars was evacuated into the Convention Center at Coronado since they were afraid the water would flood All Stars. There were lines and lines for food. The only good thing is that Animal Kingdom opened later in the day for people staying onsite and we got free admission. I'll let Bonnie tell you the rest of the story since Floyd followed us up the East Coast.

Remember! Healthy, healing and accident free.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce:

ANTICIPATION IS BUILDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

48,47, 46 bottles of beer on the wall..... I had to catch up!

I thought there wouldn't be any left by the time I got home. I am howling!!!

Jiminy C Fan-sorry I know your name but my brain has ceased to function. You can definitely tell a person's personality from their writing style. Just because your shy doesn't mean that your writing doesn't show the true inner person. Wow, where'd that come from! Not my brain.
Hurricaine Ffloydd (I won;t even try to spell anymore, braincells shrinking by the minute) was in 1999. They closed the parks 2PM one day and all the next day. They did open AK for the resort guests. Oh, and it fizzled! Phila got hit worse than FL. Go figure! We wanted to experience it and nothing! We did get to fly home first class tho!

Beth and schrolls-they'll come soon. I know they will. When you least expect it! I can give you the number of the document office if you want to bug them. Or ask if/when they were sent and to what address! We only got ours due to a smart FedEx man. Not DCL.

Hey Paul I have the whistle too. Help me if you can... it downloaded as an mp3 therefore I can't make it my email notification. Any suggestions?

Speaking of Kindler5-we haven't heard from them lately!!!! Where are they? Aren't they on this cruise with us? More later..

45 bottles of beer... need to catch up some more
