Good morning all! Just checking in to say hi! Don't worry Sandy, I'll be here on the board posting! No boycots! LOL I'm glad that the roast went well. I have never heard of that before, but I have told everyone about it! Sounds like Heidi has some great friends!

Take Care All!

Had a great day with my Mom. We went out to dinner and my Mom and I shared so I don't think I over did it!!

Where did all the dirty clothes come from??? I am up to my eyeballs with laundry today. I can't wait for summer when the laundry consists of more shorts and tanks that jeans and sweats.

Our warm spell left again and we have had chilly temps with rain or drizzle. The temps are suppose to rise in a day or too but looks like it is going to be damp most of the week. I sure hope they are wrong!

Well, Darren should be off for his second week and his first as a crewmember on the western cruise! Wish I could be there!

Chat later!

Yesterday was a glorious day! It was warm and sunny and we went for a 3 mile walk. It couldn't have been more perfect. OK, we could have been in Disney, but it was perfect for here and a stressed out mom. Even Kaleigh had a good day!

Today it is still warm, but cloudy. Hopefully all of the snow will be melted soon!

Hopefully another walk today!

Darren is in Key West today!

Ahh, decisions decisions.... what to do with all of this money I'm earning this weekend. I ended up at the hospital 15 hours Friday and then called in here and there for a cumulative 12 hours yesterday. Got home at 1:30 am. I actually got 6 hours of wonderful sleep last night and haven't been called back in yet! Yea! Hey, I've lost two pounds too! Here's the secret ... be to busy to eat or even to pee for 15 hours straight, and be running your tail off the whole time. Next, sleep 6 hours and wake up and do it again without eating, find a 2 year old slimfast in a cabinet, drink it gleefully, and run your tail off some more until going home to bed. Ta-daa. (Actually, one of those pounds might have been brain cells.)

Glad to hear that the Weinie Roast went well.

Glad Kaleigh is doing better.

Glad Susan's doing her laundry.;)
Have a good rest of the weekend, all.

Go Lori Go! I've got an idea for all the money you are earning....... Reunion cruise on Lori! :p Thanks so much!

As Denine said earlier, the weather here in Ohio is wonderful! The clouds have lifted for the most part and it is SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE out! Just had to check the boards today and see how everyone is doing. Going back out and will check in later!

Hey Bonnie, how was Chicago? Didn't you say your friend and you went to see it last night?

Chicago was good...I don't know about Acadamy good but good, entertaining. Not like the old musicals...a little avant garde in a way...lost some of the effects with the choreography with the camera cuts/angles etc...getting too critical I guess.
I got a kick though...the choreography production (whatever that is) was by John DeLuca...I went to HS with a John DeLuca who actually danced in one of Bob Fosse's productions on Broadway...I thought it would be a hoot if it was him. I wouldn't be surprised. Trying to find info on line but can't.

Beautiful out...cleaned the kitchen window, raked the yard. Plan on walking down to the lake.

Took me forever to catch up on the postings. Loved reading Darren's & loved the idea of a "Weinie Roast".

It was so nice this weekend that I was out all weekend. Dodger came home this afternoon after his visit to his other home (my son's) & we went to the park for the first time since last year & boy am I unphysicially fit! He loved it but I couldn't wait to get home.

I bought some used white wicker furniture for my bedroom. I always wanted white wicker & my son's girlfriend knew someone selling a set. I got a six drawer chest, a chest with mirror, an etagare & nightstand so I went to Cape May Wicker & bought a TV table & hamper. My room really is shaping up. I need a wicker headboard but if you buy one at Cape May Wicker you have to drill the holes yourself so I said forget it. Now I am on a quest for a wicker headboard ready for bedframe or a white headboard.

I did miss you all this weekend!!!!!!!

I will be on bright & early tomorrow!:sunny:

Lots of activity on the board today. Good to see.

Wow, Jeanne checked in. Almost forgot who you were. White wicker sounds great. It is so much fun to get new things.

Bonnie, I've heard of John DeLuca before. I hope you can find out for sure if it is the same guy. Bet it is with the dance background. I graduated with a girl who is the voice of a character on the cartoon, Tiny Toons. That was a shock as she never was in to the "arts". She was a POPULAR girl who loved everyone whether popular or not and everyone loved her.

I agree with Julie, Lori's extra money should go to the reunion cruise. Don't worry about repaying my down that I already paid. Just consider it a friend saving money for a friend. A two year old slimfast sounds so yummy.

A three mile walk for Denine is exactly what the Doctor would order. So glad that you got out and could enjoy the weather. Ours is about to change. I have heard talk of a major storm moving in Monday night. No complaints if it happens.

Susan, I am right with you. Laundry in the winter is a never ending project. I already did 3 today and 3 last Friday. Ted is still busy on the house. It is really looking good.

Heidi needs the computer now for her online course. Have a great evening everyone.

Hi all! Just checking in! Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope everyone has the luck of the Irish today!

To all Irish and wanna be irishwoman....I've given up on the men joining us! Happy St. Patricks Day!!! Don't forget to wear your green...I almost did! Thanks Julie for the reminder!

Still 51 degrees here!! I am in heaven! Of course...then the seasonal allergies begin...bad enough dust and molds year round but now pollen...thank heavens for Zyrtec!

5 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dodger's home so it is up & out by 6:00 AM with at least one out about 2:30 AM. I decided to have my morning coffee with my cruise buddies but will have to post to bring up the most recent posting. DON'T ASK. My computer just does its own thing.

Drizzling a little this morning but the sun is trying to come out!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc YEAH! Can't wait for SPRING.

Hope you all have a great day & week. Toodles:sunny:  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Good Morning and Happy St. Patty's Day to you all!

Wish I could wear the "resort wear" today but I'm working with external consultants today so that would be a no-no. Wonder if my boss is enjoying St. John as much as I would be. Doubt it!

The pollen count is already high here with everything blooming all over the place! Itchy eyes, runny nose, scratchy throat, post nasal drip, sinus pressure, etc., etc., etc. But I'm not complaining - at least it's NOT WINTER!!!

Glad to see so many posts yesterday! I've been getting a little worried about us. No longer though! We do need to hear from Mom, Bard and Patty. And, of course, Krista and Laurie. And the still missing Diana. And, our dear Darren. and anyone else I forgot to mention. Maybe the luck of the Irish will be with us today and they will all check in!

Later!

How could I forget to wish you all a "Happy St. Patrick's Day". My mother was a DRISCOLL & I hear we are from the County of Cork in Ireland & that our ancestors were pirates! Now if you told me beer drinkers I would have believed that! Hope you all have a great St. Patricks Day.

Bye & Toodles again. :earsgirl: JEANNE

Good Morning Everyone!!

Happy St Patricks Day!!

Had a great weekend. Saturday night was the Cheeleading
Banquet. I had so much fun organizing it! We had over 100
people. It went really great.

Jaymee won "Most Valuable Cheerleader"!!! We both cried when they announced her name. What a happy moment!!

I lost 2.4 pounds last week. I was really happy. Must have been all the work decorating for the banquet!!

Next is planning and organizing the Graduation party for Jaymee and Ryan. Hummm wonder if I can lose weight with that one too!!

My Mom and I went to see Chicago Friday night. Very strange movie but good. I love old Musicals this was nothing like them. I guess this is the way they are going. Different!

It is suppose to snow tonight. The moisture is great but I just washed my car!

Happy St. Patrick's Day. My corned beef and potatoes are in the crockpot. I can't wait! I don't like cooked cabbage. Kaleigh and I are part Irish. My ancestors are from County Down, Ireland.

It is beautiful out again today. We went for another 3 mile walk yesterday. I don't know about today. Jerry is going to try to come home early because of the parade downtown. It starts at 1pm and goes until 3pm. Jerry usually leaves work around then. He said there were already people on the train at 6am for the parade. They are expecting 350,000 people, but probably more with the fantastic weather.

No green for me. I hate the color. Besides, I would have to wear orange. I am not catholic.

Barb: Hooray for you on the weight loss and Jaymee on her award!

Lori: Congrats on your 2 pound loss.

We booked our 10-16-04 Disney cruise yesterday. We are getting a verandah this time. Never had one on the Disney cruise, but have had one twice on Princess. Love them! I have my TA looking into cheap Princess cruises for this October. She has really good rates through April right now, some insides as low as $399! She says the October rates are good, but she thinks they will go down, especially if we have a war.

Back to the diet tomorrow!

I forgot. We saw Chicago, the show when it was here a few years ago. I remember enjoying it, I just don't remember exactly what it was about. I wanted to see the movie, but you know how it goes with little ones.

I heard there may be a blizzard somwhere in Colorado. You guys may finally get your snow. We sure don't want anymore!

Here it is March 17th, and today Ben put the snow tires on my van. Pitiful. There was only one morning this winter when I would have liked them, but they have otherwise been totally unnecessary up until now. (I hope) Come on SNOW!

Happy St. Patty's day to you all.

Happy St. Patricks Day to all. We don't like corned beef so nothing fancy here.

Been busy getting ready for the blizzard. I did the milk, bread and medicine run. Even bought a new snow shovel. They are talking 1-3 feet of snow. (So the end result will probably be only a dusting.) Come on snow! Ted has to take his dad for surgery tomorrow so I will probably be stuck shoveling the 3 feet myself. Ted better show me how to start up the snowblower!

Hey Lori, I hate to drive in snow so let's postpone lunch if you were planning on it. We really didn't confirm anything.

Happy to hear that most of you are getting your spring but very happy that we might get our winter.

Way to go Jaymee AND Barb. Great accomplishments for both of you!

Finally snow in Colorado where it is supposed to be!!!! Keep it there please...ours finally melted!!!!
GLorious temps all week in the 50's predicted...thank heavens...won't even mind the rain.

It has been a rough one here!

Taught my last regular new hire class today!! YIPEE!!! One more ad hoc class to teach on Thurs morning and that's it!!!!

Then I have my wonderful 3 day weekend and then start fresh on Tuesday in my new job!

I can't wait!!!!!

Glad you got out Denine. Oct 16th is that eastern or western? What is the tally of Eastern vs Western....if I book it won't be until next January I'm sure.
