Hello everyone! We got our taxes done. What a good feeling we have. Now all we have to do is the FAFSA for Heidi and her masters.

We got ground cover last night for snow. Nothing to brag about. I think Krista got it all.

We did have a good time last night. We all told a thing or two about ourselves so some secrets did get out. One, I wish I didn't let go of. Embarrassing! Of course, we are all sworn to secrecy. Ya Ya's. You all have to join us next time to catch more secrets.

Bonnie, what did you and Susan do to lose Garry in the mornings? Too much bra talk again?

I am tired. I stayed up too late. Gosh, that Susan keeps talking and doesn't let me go to bed. What's the deal?

Here I am - out of the loop again! The Ya-Ya sisters all having a good time without me. I misses out on all the "secrets".

I had a birthday party today. It's a long story but it was my children's half-sister's party. She was six & would be disappointed if we didn't make it. She calls me "Aunt Jeanne".

This is going to be a busy week! Work Monday followed by an 8:00 PM Union Meeting. Tuesday in-service, Wednesday & Thursday work. Friday morning early I am leaving for Delaware to see my friend Mary Lou's new house she had built & staying the weekend. We are going to shop at the outlets till we drop. I will try to drop in a few evenings.

Joyce & I paid our deposit so we are CONFIRMED for the October 2004 Western Cruise. Sandy you are right we are on the other side of the ship but directly across from you two.

Have a great week. Stay healthy & warm. Toodles  :earsgirl: JEANNE

Maybe we have to talk about jock straps?

TOok mom out to dinner for her birthday...very stressful! And I ate entirely too much. We ended up at a local diner where they give you too much food but it is awfully good. Started out at a Lone Star where my mom was going to order a hamburger...she was watching my budget...I had to speak sternly to her. Of course we never ordered anything...sat for 15-20 minutes, nobady came to take our order so we walked out.

ALso finally got my winter coat...$80...not a bad deal.

Very stressful day...time to chill! Won't be hard with the winds here and wind chill! LOL! Well, I thought it was funny anyway.

Have a good evening all.

Just to set the record staright, I was the one who logged out before Sandy. I have no idea how long those on mountain time stayed up. Watch it, Sandy, I know your secret!!

I'll have to think of a topic just for Garry.

Later!

HI everyone! Sorry I missed the wine chat, Garry had gone to lay down before work and I couldn't get on the computer, but I was with you all in spirit! Even had a glass of wine myself!

Well, tomorrow they are ripping up the rest of my kitchen cabinets. The countertops FINALLY came in! I won't have a sink for at least 2 days! Oh well, I hear take out!!!! Oh no wait, What time is diner Denine? ha ha ha ha!

I'll stop by tomorrow to check in! Have a great day everyone!

P.S. we got about 6 to 8 inches of snow last night, AGAIN! Poor Garry had to work out in the freezing rain and snow last night with the idiots of the city. I won't be surprised to see if he gets sick!

Have a DISNEY DAY EVERYONE!

I will attest to Sue leaving before Sandy....I didn't see Sue on when I signed on that night! Oh oh...taking sides...not a good idea!

Not much new here so I will just say good morning...I guess we need Garry to spice things up here!

Have a good day all.

Hi all. More cookie frustrations, I can't believe it. Good to be able to check in here, and hear from stable personalities. (well... you know) ;)
Have a great day everyone! Lori

Good Morning!!

Burrrr it is cold in Colorado today. Only going to get up to
about 10. We have had snow off and on but not much accumulation. Hope the mountains are getting lots.

Mom is home as of Sunday afternoon so she should be checking in.

I was away from my desk most of Friday between training and meetings. I am trying to catch up on things now.

Sorry I missed the wine party Saturday. Jaymee made Ryan dinner at our house for his belated Valentines/Birthday gift so we had orders to go out to dinner and take Tiffany with us. We ended up going to see a movie too. Jaymee and I spent the morning cleaning and decorating the house then shopping for the stuff. I was tired on Sunday morning!

Good to see you back Darren! How exciting to be heading off for the Disney Magic as a employee.

Lori-How is the Girl Scout cookie sale going? Oh the memories!!

It would be great if this power trip co-leader would stop thinking things should be done in completely different ways than the council wants them. Rules just don't apply to her if they aren't in her favor.

Happy Birthday to Ryan, too. What a nice mom you are.

Don't worry about it Jeanne, I'm out of the loop too! We'll have to create our own Ya-Ya sisterhood if we keep missing out on all the gossip! Don't they know it's not nice to keep secrets from your family!

Sorry Susan. Don't want to break up the Ya Ya's. It was me, all me. Ok Lori, too. Heck, all you Easterners go to bed so early! Oops, I said I would be good. Susan is holding my secret over my head and it doesn't feel good. Love you Susan!:D If you ever need anything, Susan, just ask!:D Anything to keep that secret!:D Krista, that goes for you, too.:D Do remember, you guys admitted to it, also.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Just talked to Lori and I am going to buy some girl scout cookies. Poor thing. She is definitely having trouble with that lady! Oh well, it gave us another excuse for a lunch. (like we really need an excuse)

Jeanne, you better join us next time. We miss you and have never been able to talk to you online except for the postings. We paid our deposit a couple of weeks ago, too. It made it a reality that's for sure.

I have some shopping to do so will check in later. Want to beat the next snowfall. It is to snow everyday this week like an inch or two each day. Nothing spectacular but at least it's moisture!

Have a great day, everyone.

This is the first chance that I have had to get on in the last 24 hrs and since I chatted with some of you on Sat nite. Unfortunately I have some devistating news.

My dad passed away very suddenly around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. He was 62 years old and looking forward to retiring on March 3rd. Apparently he had a massive heart attack while laying on the couch watching car races on the tv. I am hoping that he just dozed off first before it happened. My mom had not heard him call out or anything.... The difficult thing is that I am the oldest of 4 and the youngest is my sister Karen who is in her early 30's has Down's Syndrome and basically is a 5 year old. She doesn't get this at all, is hysterical and somewhat combative. To make matters worse, my parents 16 year old Westie had to join my dad today. He had been to the vet last week and my dad just wanted to wait another week or so before putting him to sleep. He was deaf and blind in one eye and not well at all. Something that my mom just can't handle now, so we thought that it was best to have him put to sleep this morning.

Today we spent the day making arrangements, etc.......what an exhausting task......

I have really felt that we have shared so much on this board, and I wanted to share this with you all......my special friends.

Peace, Laurie

Laurie-I don't know what else to say but I am so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your dad and the dog. How devastating for you and your family...my prayers are with you.

My sincere sympathy to you Laurie. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you, your siblings and your mother will find strength and comfort over the coming days through friend, family and many wonderful memories.

I just got home from our trip to Texas and was so sorry to read about your loss Laurie. It is always a shock when we lose someone rather it is expected or unexpected. You and your family will be in my prayers....

Good Morning all.

Laurie-again you are in my prayers.

Mom-welcome home!!!! Still haven't taken the time to look at the catelogue...I will this week I promise.

That's it here.

I haven't given up on Glenn posting here. Sorry guys...I thought for sure he would after being introduced. I tried.

Have a good day all.

Welcome back, Sally. Hope you had a good trip. You missed a great wine-chat!

Here's a morning coffee club topic just for Garry (if he is out there).
What is it with boxer briefs? Either they are boxers or they are briefs. Comments?

Ok, what's with the weather again? Yesterday it go close to 70 and tomorrow probably won't get out of the 30s and we may get snow and ice again! Mother Nature has really been screwed up this year!

Later!

Thanks for the welcome home. I had a great time even if it was short...I finished my Alaska cruise album. I had to laugh at my daughter...she only got 4 pages finished....she had such a hard time deciding on the stickers, paper, borders, etc. Changed her mind a dozen times. I tried to tell her it didn't have to be a master piece every time but when she did get it done it was cute and then she wasn't sure it was right

She has enough supplies for the whole town...she begged me to use her stickers, etc. I think she wants and excuse to buy more. She lives in a very little town and buys on the internet plus she buys everything new I get in Creative Memories.

Bonnie, either you aren't a scrapbooker or you have been very busy if you haven't even looked at the catalog and I would pick very busy...now what have you been doing? Oh, yes, snowed in right!!! lol

It was cold in Texas and New Mexico but when I got home it was even colder....yesterday they said the high was 7 and we do have snow on the ground. Glad it didn't do this all winter....only a little over 3 weeks until spring!!!

Sorry I missed the wine chat....do I get to hear the secrets since I attended the last time and I didn't tell anything that went on??? lol
