Congratulations again Darren! How very exciting.

I am still trying to get my reservations made for Dec of 2003.
One our contract is fully processed it should go smoother. It is still in the processing status so they are not able to make reservations.

My email is down and I have not been able to send or read my email!! I am having email withdrawl!!! Maybe today it will be back up.

Our snow didn't even last the day so as far as I am concerned the road trip is still on!! As long as we leave the cold in the East. I already miss out Spring like temps!!!

Ok, maybe a few more words... I hope you will stay in touch with us! Have all of our email addresses for a bulk update once a week since you probably aren't allowed to post about work on a message board. Or you could give Bonnie the juicy details and she can forward it on. Ooo hey, now you can see what that DIS board for 'crew member's only' is all about! I'm so glad that you got the Magic like you wanted. My favorite server was our assistant server, as well. He did all of the jobs I really hate to do at home, like clearing away the dishes. So of course, it was instant love.

Well, life goes on. The last week has included everything from a code blue in the magnet to dissecting a rotisserie chicken for 1st grade anatomy, depression over the shuttle to a semi rolling over in front of us coming home. Even my dreams are exhausting! It's good to be home.

Oct 16, 2004 is the Eastern but I may change to the Oct 2 one because being gone that close to year end (accountingwise) was really hard to come back to last time. We're definitely going on the Eastern again though because we want the extra day at sea. We can't see paying more for an extra port call when we'd rather be at sea. We're flexible on the date but we may even change months if this group decides on the Western since we'd miss the reunion anyway.

Good evening, people. Just thought that I would check in before settling in front of the TV with a nice warm blanket. It was a cold day and perhaps a snow shower or two tonight.

Lori, you will have to tell us about that semi. Glad you guys did fine. My dd, Heidi, was up in Idaho Springs over the weekend so I was a little concerned for her, too. Hey, did you hear that they are releasing a new Thelma and Louise DVD with added footage? Most have heard about the NEW (Sandy and Lori) Thelma and Louise and wanted to beat us to the punch.

Barb, we still have snow on the ground but not enough. Glad you are still with us.

We would like the Western. We LOVE the extra day at sea, also. But would like to see something different.

Garry, Ted had the PD check out the email. His friend is now working on it. He, too, never heard of #77. He tried it but to no avail. He still says to dial 911. We are all running nervous here because a girl was just murdered by a man impersonating a Police Officer. He had an "unmarked" car and pulled her over. Of course, he was not an officer.

Jeanne, thinking of you. Krista, are you back yet? Diana, too much hockey? AND Darren, where are you? We all have so many questions. How long of a contract are you going to sign?

Guess I will close and go get my PJ's on. A warm blanket is not far behind. Ok, I am gross. We are going to watch Fear Factor.

We went to none other than A HOCKEY GAME tonight! Our local team won!! Turner has hockey practice tomrrow evening so I won't be back on til late agin tomorrow.

Work is still crazy this week!!

As for the weather we had a high of 73 yesterday and it has been dropping ever since. Only supposed to be in the 30s on Friday and possibly snow. I told you people in Colorado we don't want anymore here!!!!

Lori - glad you all are safe. Hope no one was seriously hurt in the semi incident.

Sandy - what's the #77 thing all about? Hope you guys stay safe out there!

Bored with TV so decided to play on the computer.

Susan, the #77 was in reference to an email I got. It told a story about a woman who was afraid to pull over because of an unmarked car so she hit #77 on her cell phone to confirm that it was indeed a patrol car. Supposedly she was told that their were no unmarked cars in the area and to proceed and not pull over. Several marked cars pulled the guy over and he was wanted for rape. I asked Garry if he had heard of #77. It probably was just an internet hoax. Neither Garry or Ted's friend in the traffic division had heard of it.

Hi everyone! Glad to see that you are ok Lori! Sounds like a crazy few days for you!

Which week have we decided on for the reunion cruise? I know Oct., but which week. I know that about half of us want the western to do something different and the rest want the eastern. There are pro's and con's of each cruise. We PERSONAL like the eastern for the extra day at sea. I just hope thta we can decide on the week and cruise (east or west) so we can start the booking process. I know that if we book 8 cabins or more, we can get a group discount. WE NEED DARREN'S PROFESSIONAL OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which route would he recommend? The Lauter family will go with the majority. I would like to see the crew with thier bushwackers though!

We have a busy day tomorrow so I don't know if I will get a chance to check the boards until later in the evening. have a great day everyone!

Hey big Guy, Happy Birthday and ... "cheers"!

Hi guys, actually the semi was the closest actual occurrence to us, but it was so slow motion, the driver was fine. He'll just need a really strong tow truck to get upright and out of the median. Some other sights we passed were more sobering. An upside-down SUV in the median had a person being carried up the hill on a board. I don't know if the plastic covers were completely closed to keep the snow off, or for the worse reason. You'd think that would sober up some drivers, but no. As two ambulances were cutting down the middle of the two lanes of cars to get to another accident, this idiot lady is driving right behind them, trying to get ahead of some traffic. A camper and a beat up old truck next to each other decided to play road-rage patrol and squeezed her out. She just sat there, stuck in the center as people she had just passed, drive by doing "L" for loser signs (and maybe a few other signs) at her. Reminded me of the time we were behind a slow RV on a one lane mountain road. He wouldn't use any pull-outs for traffic to pass, and when he finally did, the car ahead of us threw this huge blue Icee on his windshield. Amazing how people's rudeness and then tempers let go in traffic. Then we get home and the first thing on the news is a fatality on Santa Fe (a road near us) where one arguing car forced the other into oncoming traffic and hit another car with a young family in it. A passenger in the van that was forced over (one of the arguers) was killed, and the other car just took off. Got caught thanks to witnesses having the license plate number.
This high speed world, I don't know.

Wow, Lori. Didn't hear about the Santa Fe accident. Quite honestly, there are a lot of stupid drivers on it including the truck traffic. I watched a SUV barrel through a red light just south of C470 and the next thing I knew another one right behind it. Then I noticed the second one was an unmarked car. He got him pulled over. I LOVE to see that!

Missing Laurie, where are you now??? How are you feeling?

Should we take a vote for east or west to see where we are? I vote for Western. Is anyone not planning on going PERIOD? Parrott's Eastern. Lauter's Eastern but will do either.

A dusting of snow last night and more tonight. Keep it coming!!!

Gotta go grocery shopping now. I am having a birthday party for one of my longtime friends. (20 years of friendship) Making ham balls. Anyone ever try them? I have a secret ingredient. Makes them sweet. Yummy!
