Denine - I'll even have some Bailey's for you to help with the shot thing. I'll do what I can to feel good for ya!! I'll even use a mug since I'm not that family that doesn't need a glass or bottle!!! Give Ollie some love. He just missed you while you were gone!!

Glad Lia and Tiffany are feeling better!!! Turner is still coughing but feels good. He is bundled up tight and out in the snow. I guess I ought to go get a picture or two.

Ok, Ok!!!!! We are the family who has a member who doesn't use glasses all the time, BUT the Big Guy hasn't been as sick as the rest of us!! Hmmm, maybe he knows something that we don't.

Glad to see that Turner, Lia, and Tiffany are feeling better. Now if we can get the adults to start feeling better.

I can honestly say that I agree with Denine about our weather. It hasn't been THIS cold for awhile. Poor Garry has been out in this yucky weather for the last few nights. I won't be surprised if he gets sick!

Add me to as a stop for Thelma and Lousie and Barb! If you stop by Denine's for snow, you'll have to stop by for drinks here! hen I can go with you as you continue your trip!

Ohhhhhh, so disappointed with not being able to celebrate your birthday, Lori. I can't do Tues. or Thurs. Those are the days I have the little ones. I can do the Wednesday before or the Friday after. My mom always said to share and share alike.

Wow, Sally what a mess last night for you! I have been between DIA and Colo Sprgs. airport before, too. My brother was to fly into DIA but ended up in the Sprgs so my SIL and I hightailed it to the Springs. Why can't the airlines get their act together between the two? I understand weather, however.

Gotta go cook some dinner. I marinated boneless chicken breasts in fat free zesty Italian dressing and we are going to grill them. We really love them that way. Try it sometime.

I got an email from Joyce today but I see she didn't post! Hmmm....I will call her tonight and give her heck!

Bad day at work today plus it looks as though another supervisor is going for that supervisor position so I am definitely out of the running...oh well...maybe I will go work in that department anyway as a regular nurse...it would be down a level but I wouldn't lose any pay. We'll see.

I just got through wiping out both Turner and Paul in Disney Monopoly!!! I had castles on all my properties and they couldn't help but land on them!! Much more fun than regular Monopoly!!

I'm only 4 -41/2 hours from Cleveland! PLUS -- (BONUS) you get to drive through Niagara Falls on the way!!!!!!!! SSSOOOOOOOO ~ might as well take a pit stop in Toronto (we are actually southwest of Toronto and only 1 hr. from the Falls). I'll take y'all up in the CN Tower to stand on the glass floor! AND I'll let you taste Canada's version of Bailey's ~~ it's called "O Canada" and it's GREAT! Bailey's with a maple flavor.

Glad that the sickies are now almost wellies. What a difference a week makes.

Speaking of Bailey's, I found a great substitute. It is called Carolans, and tastes exactly the same (with a hint of honey) for 1/2 the price. It is thick and rich and not a cheap substitute (like bad wine). And I obviously would know that LOL.

I want you all to promise that if you ever get my way, or close to Branson, MO you will go to Big Cedar Lodge. It is the greatest, most romantic place in the world. The place is beautiful with these great cabins (I mean real luxury stuff, not bunk bed things.)
I just spent 2 days there during work, went to the spa, ate out, had a fire in my fireplace and sat in my huge rock jacuzzi. Too bad David couldn't come. Hee Hee.(That's's the little mommy devil in me).

I have something weird going on with my computer. Every time I get on I get a TON OF POP-UPS. And they won't stop. I am scanning for virusses right now. It has already cleaned up a couple last week. I won't e-mail you all anything until this is over.

Glad to see EVERYONE checking in (Diana), now we just need Glenn. Hi Glenn.

Okay, I've been listening to all the planning about the Thelma and Louise road trip, and I just have one question....did everyone forget how their trip ended? At least do it in front of a web cam so all the husbands and significant others can watch! (With their Bailey's of course).


Well, on a less cheery note, I'm currently stuck at the pit...er...I mean work. It was bad enough to work in this never-ending cold for eight hours, but I was lucky enough to be informed as soon as I walked in at 11pm that the day shift sergeant called in sick (again) and I'm stuck here until 3pm. Bring on the caffeine, because day shift and people doesn't mix well with a tired sergeant from night shift!

Hope everyone is doing well. Well, it's bar closing time and 9-1-1 is ringing...gotta go!

I'm here!! Too cold toget motivated this morning. I had to go in at 10:00 yesterday but they let us leave at 4:00. Still a lot of ice patches on the roads.

Went to a hockey game last night. It was great and Turner was so glad to finally be getting out of the house. Of course, as soon as he felt better to go to school, they cancelled for 2 days because of the snow. When he goes back Monday he will have been out since the 15th!!!

Gary - so sorry you are working double shifts in the frigid cold!! But, you better behave. Bonnie's got your number!

ROAD TRIP - I say forget the snow. Do the road trip anyway. Drop by and get me and let's head to Florida to find Darren. Paul's the Private Eye, we may need to take him with us to track Darren down!! Since we'll be in Flrida, let's juts get on the ship and go to the warmer Carribean!! Sound like a plan?? When do we leave?

Kaleigh did fine with her shots. She screamed bloody murder, but wasn't fussy for 2 days like the last time. She now weighs 14-1/2 pounds.

A double shift has to be miserable. Caffeine is the only way to go for me!

I am all in for Susan's road trip. Quite honestly we don't long for the warm weather but most of you do. We just long for the ship! So Garry wants to film the end of the Thelma and Louise roadtrip, huh? Doesn't always have to end the Hollywood way! I do like Bonnie's idea for Thelma and Louise. Should be GREAT. Lori and Barb, are you in for paying Garry back for Bonnie?

Bronchitis? Really, Bonnie! You will come up with anything not to paint those ceilings. I think we need a Doctor's excuse this time.

Having lunch today with my family, boyfriends and a 75 year old couple. We are celebrating CHRISTMAS. Yea, more presents!!!

Hi all.

I just wanted to let you know that my grandmother died this morning. It was not unexpected. We actually thought she was going to die last January, but pulled out of it and was taken off hospice. I knew she wasn't doing well a couple of days ago. She was my dad's mom and the only granparent I ever knew. All the other's died before I was born.
It was time, but it is still sad.
I don't know when the funeral is, probably Tuesday or Wednesday.
