((klonk)) that was Sandy falling over.

My life is so BORING, I just haven't had anything to say! My sister is visiting from Calif., homework he** is back in full swing, Katie's Girlscout leaders are driving me nuts and it's way too political to just take over without effecting Katie socially, so I have been biting my tongue A LOT.

Laurie, I was at Codys Cub scout meeting the last time you called. I should be home Saturday morning though. E-mail me some good juicy details anyway, just in case we miss each other again.

Hi everybody! Glad you're back Diana. Susan, get well and stay that way!

Congratulations to your son, Jeanne.

Just checking in.

Diana: Such good news about your dad!

Julie: See? Snow is a bad thing!!!!!!!

Bonnie: Get your ceiling painted!

Have been busy. I sent out the baptism invitations and purchased Kaleigh's gown. I attempted to start Kaleigh on rice cereal yesterday. She has been so hungry lately and I think 8 ounces of formula is an awful lot for a little tummy. Will try again today. I had hoped to wait until we got back from vacation and she was 4 months old. Well, 3-1/2 months will have to do.
I am trying to get everything around so we can leave on Sunday as soon as I get home form work.

Julie: Does the Studio at the Wilderness lodge have a VCR? Kaleigh absolutely loves the animal video you got her.

I should be able to check in again before we leave.

Denine, Kleigh will be just fine with her rice cereal. Our girls were not getting satisfied at one month so the Doctor put them on rice cereal. That was the first time they slept through the night and did so every night after that. They were preemies so they did real good for their "age" on cereal. Ours never hit the 8 oz mark. They had cereal with their first and last bottle. But- because they were preemies the doctors had us feed them every 3 hours instead of the every 4 hours like most. Force feed at that in the very beginning. What a pain!!! The 9 month old girl that I watch is on 6 oz.

Oh my gosh, boring life Lori checked in. Thought that you were making your millions for your summer trip. You know, doing that dirty four letter word thing-----WORK .;)

Just needed a "me" break from the little ones. Better go and check them out. My 9 month old just pulled herself up on top of my toy box today. I swear that she is the most curious and athletic baby I have ever been around.

I can't believe we are on page two of the Community Board. You Dis'ers are shirking on your posting. At least I have an excuse - bad cookies!

Diana: So glad to hear about your Dad. We will all keep our fingers crossed.

It is really busy at work but I decided to take a computer break.

Bonnie: I left you a message. If you would like to be our (DD#2 & DD#3) date for the holiday party on January 17th give me a call at work because it is a sitdown dinner & I need to know what you would like for your meal. Free food, drink & music - what more could you want?

Joyce alias Disney Dudette #3 is over my shoulder saying "Hello" too.

GO E A G L E S !!!!!!!!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Toodles  :earsgirl:

homework he** is back in full swing
Lori, we live the same life!! LOL

Bonnie - how does the nicely painted ceiling look?? You choose whether that question should be sincere or sarcastic!!

Still coughing!! I have an 8:45am appointment tomorrow morning with the allergy/asthma Dr. Still taking my meds!! Paul is out of town until Saturday afternoon/evening. He has been making sure I get up in the mornings since I am back on the Tussionex. I hope he remembers to call me in the morning or else I may oversleep!!

I've been in a training class for the last three days. Tomorrow it is back to the real work!

So, Darren should be at CC tomorrow, right?? Hope he is having a great time!

It is 6:00pm on January 9th and it is 67 degrees here in Charlotte. What is wrong with that picture??? The cold weather is supposed to be on its way. Only supposed to get up to 49 on Saturday and 42 on Sunday.

Okay, if Bonnie is going on strike, then I'm going on strike until Ted posts a topic of the day! (insert picture of Sally Field on top of the table in Norma Rae here...only substitute me in black socks, shorts and white t-shirt holding a "TED" sign).

TOPIC OF THE DAY - STRIKE or SPARE???

I say SPARE! SPARE us the dramatics and keep posting. Don't strike!! I would miss you all terribly!

Don't have anything to say , but have been shamed into posting.
Hope all are well.

Krista

Anyone have any thoughts on a Spring trip for us, something warm, no cruise, total relaxation, $ no object (spending the bonus!!)
Hee Hee

Hi all!!!!!!! I'm back. Didn't have the internet until tonight. We had problems with it so only Garry's computer would work. I'm here!

Jeanne, tell you son way to go! What an accomplishment! Tell him not to get discouraged if the "common folk" don't give him the "respect of the badge".

Denine, no they don't have VCR's in the studios at VWL. I do believe though that if you ask them, they will be more then happy to get you one. Call before you go and ask. If they can, put in on you ressies.

Bonnie, strike? I thought you were missing too! Every time I checked to see if you were on AIM you weren't. I guess we were on at different times. I miss our chats!

Sandy, I got your recipes! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get them into our cookbook! Get Ted back on the board!!!

If anyone else has yummy recipes get them to us!

No Martha Stewart for me! ONLY half of my kitchen is done. The counter tops weren't in so he only could do my stove and refrig area. But I have managed to clean out SEVERAL cabinets and boy is that fun!

Krista, my aunt has told me that Punta Cana is beautiful! It is in Dominican Republic. They have all inclusive packages. I know from my travel agent experience that they also have a kids club place so I think that Clare would love it. It is right one the beach. I know that it is quiet and peaceful and very VERY relaxing. Let me know if you have another idea and I could get some info on it for you.

Diana, glad to see you are back and posting! So happy to hear that your father is doing well. Keep us posted.

Susan, I hope you are feeling better soon! I know those coughs seem to take it all out of you!!!!!!! Drugs are good! Keep up with them.

Laurie, Hiddy Ho! I miss chatting with you too! Hopefully we can chat again in the future. Tell Jonh he better start chatting with all of us or we are ALL coming for a visit, staying of course with you , AND John will let us pick ANYTHING out of he's store and he's paying! LOL

Mom, Barb, and Patti, I miss your daily chats with one another! It was always a treat to get on to read about what was going onbetween the two sisters and their mom!

Well, gonna go! Anyone have any topics or ideas for clipart?

HI JOYCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha! ROFLMAO Ah, and you know what I love about Susan? She's still this witty even when she's NOT on drugs. LOL

I'll add my vote for rice cereal, and it's ability to satisfy a baby right through the night. God bless the stuff. I even had a bottle type cereal feeder for the kids. Stuff it full of baby food, hand it to them, and in 15 minutes they have finished a meal. Voila

Lori, I'm soooooooooo sorry I didn't address you in my early post! You are such a great person, I can't believe that your life so boring! I need you around to keep Garry in his "zone" of humor!

I vote for the rice cereal too! The Big Guy was on rice cereal when he was two months old! Makenzie was in it at three months. Let me tell you they both seemed to handle it well. They were both sleeping through the night right after I started them on the cereal.

Just wanted to let Bonnie know that I'm doing my job to keep us on the first page! I will post Bonnie! I promise!!!

Good night all! I'll check back in tomorrow during the day!

I'm here!! I didn't oversleep and Paul hasn't called yet!!

The postings have improved. I better see Bonnie and Garry back on SOON!!!

Clipart - how about tinkerbell pix?

Everyone have a great day!!!!

I can't resist anymore! I am such a weak person.

At least Lori came back!

Rice cereal...I have everyone beat! Ryan was a 10# baby that was going through 8 oz every 2-3 hours so at 3 weeks of age he got a little rice cereal added per the pediatrition. It saved my sanity!

Well...we still haven't heard from Mom, Barb Patty!!!!!

Julie-great to clean out cupboards! I did it recently...instead of painting the ceilings! LOL!

I couldn't resist when I saw Sue finally back witht the morning coffee but I am the one running late.

Keep it up and I'll be back!!!

Have a good day all!

Though I better get back it touch since Sandy and Julie are after me. Things are going well except now that Sandy has new furniture coming she is now focusing on getting the kitchen done. I think I am going to diverge her energy towards Bonnie to buy more time. Bonnie, I will start the completion of Sandy kitchen when you have painted your ceilings. We don’t have much time until graduation so for Sandy’s peace of mind hope those ceilings get painted quick.

Garry, you were asking for a subject for the day. I am not as witty as you but for starters how about ceilings. How long does it really take to paint a ceiling?

Ok Bonnie I will quit picking on you.

Jeanne, that is great your son made the academy. I know from talking to the agents at the City here that there are a lot of candidates that apply and very few get to go.

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Glad to hear all the dads are doing better.

:D :D :D

Everybody have a great weekend. After the above comments to Bonnie will probably have to start completing some of my home improvement project.

Ted

I about fell off my chair. So many returned to post including my elusive husband. Morning, dear.

Susan, so glad you are feeling a little better and can post!

Julie, I honestly was going to call you this weekend to check up on you if you didn't post last night. Glad you liked the recipes. Know what I was thinking???? If people don't get off their b---s, we won't get a cookbook and you then you get a few free and easy recipes. Something isn't fair with that idea!!! Okay people let's get Julie working. Put Julie back to creating! Keep Julie out of trouble!!

Bonnie, I WILL call and pester you into painting those ceilings. I want my kitchen finished.

We have a temporary Disney outlet here for the month of January so the entire family is going tonight. Lori, it is the one that was at Southglenn last year. This year it is at Colorado Mills. It sells Disneyland's discontinued things. Clothes, toys, household goodies, you name it. Can't wait to go. How does this sound? I will start spending MONEY until Ted gets the kitchen done. Sounds fair to me!!!!!

HMMMMM, how long does it take to paint a ceiling? Not very long when your husband puts a roller on an extension bar and gets it done. Gotta give you credit, Ted, when you paint you do it until the end. Way to go!!!!!

And time to pick on Krista. I knew when you got on the computer one time and didn't post. Shame! You and your witty self was missed the last couple of days! I especially liked it last week when you posted after a couple of drinks. We need more laughs like that. A spring trip, huh? A perfect time of year!! Ted and I prefer cruising that time of year. Not too hot and not too cold. Don't go to Mexico. Heidi just came home and is SICK. The doctor gave her two prescriptions. She came home with diaharrea (sp) that she had for a couple of days prior to getting home and is still doing that and now vomiting. She is in great spirits however. Shoot she just did it and was looking forward to going tonight. Well, we'll see.

I agree with Susan and Lori. SPARE!
Gotta go and spend more of Ted's money. The kitchen isn't done, yet. Love it. This is going to be fun!!!!:bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
