Well looks like I found the new post OK, thanks Bonnie! It's funny that they locked us out of the other one, well I suppose it was getting a little big!

Anyway, sorry that I've not posted for a little while but I've been having a nightmare with my PC, I ended up having to format my hard drive and re-install windows and even then AOL didn't seem to want to work properly, but I think I've finally fixed it now. Then I forgot my Disboard password (shame on me) so I've just been sorting that out, but now HERE I AM.

We've been having fun here in the UK. All the firefighters recently went on a 48 hour strike and they are saying that they plan to walk out for an 8 day strike in a weeks time if there pay isn't improved (they want a 40% pay rise!). Luckly the army has been covering they but they can't provide as good a service, so I think everyone has been worried.

I went ten pin bowling yesterday, oh fun fun fun, but I was very happy as I managed to win 2 games out of the three we played and I got a turkey! (three strikes in a row)

Dudettes - do you think there is any room in your cases for me when you go to WDW (I wouldn't use up too much room!!!)

We were a little worried as you know. And not just me...

We heard about the firefighter's strike over here. Is their salery truly that low that to be competitive over ver they would need 40%? I have a cousin in Boston who is a firefighter. He does pretty well.

Congratulations on the Turkey. I think you should fly over here with it and cook us all Thanksgiving dinner!

Poor Garry!!!!! Now we get to take a break! More important-hows the knee? I take it the swelling has subsided.

Bonnie - The salary they get at the moment is fairly competative but I think they may deserve a bit of a pay rise but as for the 40% I think they are just aiming very high and then they are going to see what they will be offered.

No workd from the rest of CO also. Lori hasn't checked in yet. It sounded like Sandy was going to be pretty busy this weekend so we may not hear from her.

Ok Sue- I got up late with my coffee but I thought for sure you would have beat me to the boards. I have my coffee now, where are you.

I will have to get the Dudettes on board. Although I don't know about Joyce. That's what happends when you keep your computer in a closet!

You know one good thing about having to start a new thread is I get to be on it from the beginning! I joined late last time and missed out on alot.

What happens to the old thread?? Does it go away?

It is early in the morning and I am waiting to hear from my Mom on instant message. We have craft shows to go to for goodness sake! Then I am coming home to clean and work some more on Christmas decorations. tomorrow night we are having Jaymee's boyfriend/finace parents to dinner.

I think we need to start a dream cruise reunion! Maybe Oct of 2004

Barb-got your PM sent you my AIM name also. I would love to go to CO of course I don't know how I would handle the elevations out there always wondered.

Mom-I have a coupon for Michael's 40% off one item. No sale on paper though. They seem to have the best prices. I do the 12x12 books since I am such a prolific picture taker. I can fit more on one page. Many times it is the same picture taken with different cameras-especially Dudette pictures.

Diana-Glad you found us. Good luck with the hockey games.

Sue- I hope your head feels better. MIne gets bad if I don't take my Zyrtec.

Darren: So glad you are back with us & you are more then welcomed to come with us to WDW in our luggage! You are the unofficial Disney Dude #2. My son became Disney Dude #1 last year at WDW.
