Headache Gone - Feel Human Again!!

Turner is a little better today. Fever is gone but he is still pale, congested and coughing. I think the worst is over.

Glad you had a good scrapbooking event. I wish I was creative to do that.

We will probably hear from Denine today. I'm sure she is not happy to be back in the FRIGID COLD.

Bonnie - check in when you can. I laughed when I saw your quick comment to Garry yesterday (+1)!!! LOL

I have to go grocery shopping and then I'll probably play board games with Turner and read most of the day. A lazy day off!!

Tiffany had the flu all weekend she was running a fever and on the couch. What a bummer to spend a 3 day weekend sick!

Sandy-Laurie- When are we doing lunch?? Pick a date and I will come to Denver.

Julie-can't wait to see the Pampered Chef book. I love their stuff and use it all the time.

Ahh haa ha, just had to come and give Susan a hard time. Hummm, no one else set themselves up for harassment today? Hmmm, OK.

Lazy day today. My sister is on her plane heading back to California. I'm looking at my house (or what's left of it) after my marathon call weekend had me either gone or in bed most of the time. I'm in denial. I'm sure it's not as bad as it looks. I'm just ignoring the smell.

The bank put my deposit of $18K into someone else's account earlier this month. Boy wasn't I surprised to learn that a big fat check I wrote, made a big fat bounce last Friday. I've had to just ignore my feelings on it until Tuesday when they reopen. Grrrr. I'm keeping in control of my self very well, don't you think? I'll have some warm, fresh blood on my teeth tomorrow at 9AM.

We are home We got home last night. We had a great time, but it was too short.
Kaleigh got to sit on Pooh's lap, also on Minnie's. It was so sweet!!!!!!!
I hate hate hate the cold and the snow. It is bone chilling. It may not have been as warm as normal in FLorida, but we could still get outside without dressing like Nanook of the North.

We got to meet up with friends form the 10-12 cruise. They live in Lake Mary. We spent the evening at their house on Wednesday.
I got to speak with Sue on Saturday. Too bad we couldn't get togther.

Kaleigh was wonderful on the trip. We could not have asked for anything more from her. We did use the baby center's. They were great. We only went to Epcot and the MK this trip. We bought our annual passes. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas in a studio. It was really nice having the couch!

I found out on Thursday that Darren, the brat, stayed on the ship for another week. And, he told us he couldn't get any more time off. You have some explaining to do! We were talking to Marti, the DVC rep, that we have been on 2 cruises with and met in the park a couple of times. It turns out she was quite familiar with Darren. Just join already!

Well, now I have to start reading all that I missed while we were gone.

Sounds like Kaleigh is hooked on Disney, already. Like she had a choice!

I have now finished reading all that I missed. I already love Bailey's and cocoa. Had some this evening. If you add some frangelico with the bailey's, it is really good, or just frangelico.

Darren: Hope your interview goes well, but your still a brat! I still need to read your thread on the cruise board.

Jerry had the day off but has to go back to work tomorrow. Kaleigh gets her 4 month shots on Thursday. I can't believe she is going to be 4 months old on Saturday! Question: How do you get babies to swallow besides blowing in their faces? Kaleigh just likes to hold the cereal in her mouth and smile and stick her hands in. If I am lucky, I can get, maybe, a tablespoon of cereal in her. Kaleigh started to grab for toys 2 days ago and started laughing today! It's not much of a laugh, but it's hers.

Welcome home Denine and Jerry. Glad that your little munchkin was good.

Laurie..............and Lori thinks I drink a lot!!!! Or is it Laurie and Susan???? Someone asked what was in a bushwacker. I can remember light rum, kahlua and it seems like one more kind of alcohol. Believe me, one is all you need, right Bonnie? Or don't you remember??

Barb, hasn't the weather been wonderful? You've got to admit we need snow though!

Ted and I went to the movie today. We saw Catch Me If You Can. It was very good. Amazingly, a true story.

Denine - I'm really glad we didn't get together Saturday evening. Turner now has a full blown case of pink eye in both eyes!!! Of course, if we had gotten together and Kaleigh had gtten it, I would never have been able to forgive myself!!! I called the doctor's office around 6:00 this evening (of course, it didn't look like ponk eye until after hours)! They called in some drops and I went to pick them up. Of course, he can't go to school tomorrow.

Can you believe this: He actually got upset about missing school. He is so tired of being sick he says he wants to go to school with double the work instead of staying home another day!! So, let's see, that makes it 1) stomache flu, 2) respiratory virus, and 3) pink eye in less than one week!!!

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile but, of course, I worked on Monday & spent Sunday being depressed. I had to do alot of reading to catch up on the news. Friday I am leaving for the Poconos & will not be back for a week but I will try to check in several times today & this week so I don't get too far behind but no computer access in the Poconos.

Poconos, sounds so foreign to me. Have fun!! Not freezing here, Jeanne. High was in the 60's over the weekend.

How come everyone else is taking a trip but us? Guess I will have to beg Ted into one. Actually, Amtrak is having a sale--BOGOF. Thinking about checking that out. Never been on a train and thought that might be fun.
