I think for my fantasy vacation, I'll start by (not) booking a flight on the Concord and visit everyone I know in jolly old England. (Quite a few, actually... if Wales counts...) including Darren of course. Then I think a hiking trip to Napal sounds nice.

I didn't hear from Bonnie. I hope that doesn't mean flight delays. Dudettes need to get home and give us the debriefing. I want to know what all we missed.

Darren - IF you do go in January, try to plan a layover in Charlotte. We'll come visit you at the airport (and sneak into your luggage - LOL).

Ok Sandy, I will leave a few clothes at home so you will fit in....have to take some warm clothes though...I about froze in the movie theater...and you never know about Fla.

Just a quick hello. Haven't read all the pages WOW! 10 pages to go thru. Lousy weather, chilly, poured rain... Monsoon style for much of the time. Had 3 decent days.
WIll post tomorrow. Ended up with a direct flight home due to a very nice couter person at US Airways.

Will write more tomorrow!

Off to bed!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: Welcome Home Dudettes!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I hope you all had an excellent time at WDW!!! (and of course didn't get too upset seeing the DCL buses, I'm sure you were having too much fun for that though!) I look forward to hearing about your trip!!!

Well GOOD MORNING ALL and have a MAGICAL day!!!

It was more like England in Florida with all the rain and chilly weather! We saw one Cruise line bus and said "AWWW..."
Everyone we met from England I asked "DO you live near Loughborough?" ANd of ocurse I surprised them by pronouncing it correctly! Unfortunately nobody lived near you.

Are you ready for Christmas yet?

Don't ask me if I am! Soo much to do yet!

Good luck on your cruise interview next month!!! I wish I could go with the prices the way they are!

Krista- I missed the party!!!! I hope it all went well.

Darren-you are rally serious aobut the cruise aren't you? I'll bet I know where you 'll be eating many of your dinners!!!!! Hmm let's see an extra $5 per dinner each night... Is it budgeted? LOL!
I hope you do get to go and report back to us!

Back to reading more then eventually my funny story!

Bonnie - Yes i've got to find out how many dinners they will allow you to have at Palo's! If I go I am determined not to tell Lorenzo so I can seriously suprise him when I get there!!!

I don't know why i'm thinking about this already (I haven't even booked yet!!) but:

Palo's - Right so I'm bound to get put on the LAP rotation but I'd want to go to Palo's early in my stay to see Lorenzo and then maybe there would be the possibility to eat there for dinner twice but...

Day 1 - Lumiere's (it would be rude to miss the first night of rotational dining, have to meet servers and fellow dining companions)

Day 2 - KEY WEST - Animators (Sorry I could NOT miss show in Animators, but wouldn't it be great to see sunset from Palo's)

Day 3 - DAY AT SEA - Parrot Cay (Formal Night!)

What a dilemma!! When would I go!

Welcome back......Bonnie your weather report doesn't sound too good....hope it is better when I go in two weeks...the last time I went in December we had nice weather until the last couple days and then I about froze.

How were the gingerbread houses.....is the parks decorated really nice. The last time I was disappointed they weren't decorated more but then I could be comparing them to Barb's house....lol

Mom..lots of scrapbooking stuff in WDW. Check it out while your there! I bought a couple packages...now I need the time to do it!

Ok Here's what I did on the flight down:

As you all know I suffed everything in a carry on and backpack for the trip down. Unfortunately the Dudette sweatshirts would not fit in either bag so they went in a Target bag.
I got away with it from Phila to Pitts. When I tried to board in Pitts. I was told that I had one too many carryon items and would have to check one. I told the gentleman at the gate that I had yet another connection in DC and would not want to check the luggage should it get lost.
He insested that I check something. Instead of doing so I put on all three sweatshirts, over a turtleneck and cardigan sweater, stuffed the bag in my jacket pocket and boarded the plane!
Once on the plane, with many strange looks and chuckles I proceeded to remove all three sweatshirts. The fight attendant said " I just have to ask why?" So I told him. Everyone enjoyed the little show. By the way the flight was only 1/3 full so there was certainly plenty of overhead space!

Underwires...doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. One recommendation though...Don't wear Victoria Secret bras through security check at the airport. Everytime I wear one I have to get wanded!!!!!

Great clipart Julie!! Keep it up...

Darren-great website!!! How does it change dates etc or do you do it daily? You missed your calling.

Can you tell I missed you all???? Where are you???????????

My secret was a very pleasant nice person. Dragged him all over the parks but he was a trooper!

Jeanne where are you!?! I know you're not working today. Getting the real Christmas tree I guess!

Sue-so happy to hear you are better. but back to work Monday! UGH!

Too funny, Bonnie. The funny part is that we can see you doing something like that. I am sending you an email. My dd won't let me post anything else.

Darren, definitely Palo's FIRST night. My dd said that you wouldn't really be able to see the sunset in Palo's because everyone gathers around there to watch it off the deck at Key West. She said to go to the secret verandah, where we had the wine party, for the sunset unless you want pictures taken in front of the sunset. Thanks Darren, she is sitting next to me and whining... "I want to go back".

are for LORI and SANDY and I will email you with the instructions

Have a great day!

This sleepy head just got up - yes, it is 1:00 in the afternoon. I went to the hockey game last night and I guess that took too much out of me.

I had a chat with Bonnie last night. I had to make sure she made it back safely. SOooo glad to have the dudettes back!

No Christmas decorations at our house yet (except for a wreath on the door). Maybe I'll feel like doing some of that this week. I will defnitely have to keep it low key this year. No sense doing anything outside since we still have the remnants of lost trees in the front yard and piles of debris at the curb.

I have to clean out the freezer today so I can go retrieve the few items that are stored at my sister's house. The fridge was taken care of last week but I just put off the freezer. But now is the time. Defrosting want be a problem since everything thawed, but solid ice in the bottom will be a problem since all the water refroze when the power came back on.

I'm tired just thinking about that task. I'll check back in later!

First: My package was waiting for me when I got home so mine is here!

Bonnie was right. I have been putting up my real tree all day today and I am now waiting for Santa to come. He really is coming! In our township Santa comes around on a fire truck & I hear the sirens!!!:Pinkbounc

The worse weather I have ever experienced in Disney World. It was raining so hard it was coming down sideways. We did get to go to Fantasmic, Osborne Lights, Candlelight & Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but the weather was miserable.

I need to catch up on the boards but just wanted to check in. I have to work tomorrow & then our Christmas Party so you won't hear from me until Monday probably.

Toodles:wave: :earsgirl:

Oh MAN. I'd go into some serious denial over that one. Just put it off until you really need the space later. Sounds yukky for you Susan, I wish I could help. Glad you're feeling better, you must be, if your thinking of jobs like that.

Yae, Jeanne!!! Good to see you checking in! Wait
'till you do your pictures, the trip will seem perfect in every way! LOL (hey, it's working for me, the scrap book is almost done!)

Thanks Julie. Message received.

Yes, I have sent my package, it should be received VERY soon if not already. I will follow instructions dutifully when mine is received. (Thanks)

Darren, go for it. ALL. I'll try not to be jealous, just simply happy for you.

I'm still smiling over Bonnie's airport fashion STATEMENT!

Take good care all. ~~ Lori

Lori: Loved your Christmas card & did get as far as reading the post where you stole "Toodles"!

I really do need to get off the computer.

TOODLES  :earsgirl:
