I haven't been on the boards for quite awhile as we had company visiting in late September and then we traveled to Ireland, London, and Germany on a great trip with friends.

Am now back and trying to catch up with stuff and focus on the Disney trip. I haven't read all that I missed on the threads, but wanted to post for the roll call and also inquire about the fish extenders--what are they?

Anyway, for the roll call, we are Steve and Marilyn (early 60's) from Delaware traveling with daughter Kim (37) and her 3 year old son, Luke who are from Pennsylvania. We are all staying together in cabin #8578 and hope to meet you all at the meet and greet. Has one been established yet?

DH and I have done quite a few cruises, but this is our first Disney one and we are so looking forward to it. Any additional hints and pointers will be welcome. Thanks to all, Marilyn

Wow Marilyn, you sound like your living my dream retirement!! My DH is from Pittsburgh and would love to talk "PA" stuff, maybe not the "Steelers" right now! Anyways, welcome aboard! Yes, we are arranging a meet and greet right before sail away. Look at the bottom of the "roll call list" for time and location. you can also refer to the previous threads about making a DIS badge for yourself for easier recongnition.
The "fish extender" is just something you can place outside your door and people can drop a note inside of it for you. Good fun! You can also get a dry erase board and attach it to your door.
I would love to meet you and your daughter. I am 39 with a DD 3 years old.
Anyways.....it won't be long now!!

Hi everyone

I also have not posted for a while but here are our details:

Myself, Krystyne(39) and my daughter, Angeline(15) are both on this cruise and are from Perth, Western Australia. We will be in a navigators verandah stateroom no:5632. It's our first ever cruise and we are veeeery excited!
We will not have a fish extender, (when I first read about these I thought it was something you added to seafood to increase the quantity and then I couldn't understand why people were bringing them onboard when food was already plentiful and free). I think you can all imagine how stupid I felt when I finally saw a photo of one!
Anyway we are both really looking forward to meeting everyone, not long now.

I guess I'll have to look back through the threads that I missed while on vacation to see what they look like. Its a good idea.

We are Philadelphia Eagles fans, but definitely do not want to talk about them either as they really stink this year.

OMG....... I have to pack!!!

My husband comes home on the Thurday night - and we leave early Sat. morning.... he will never be packed in time!!! Or he will just forget stuff.

Does anyone here pack for their DH?

I read somewhere, that you should pack your bags with everyone's stuff - so My bag would have at least one outfit for me, DS, and DH - and the same thing for the other bags.... that way if one gets lost - we have outfits for everyone!

Anyone else heard of that?
