Hey again. I finally caught up on all the previous posts, too. This is fun.
imanazd: Sure, I'll send you all the designs. Or I can post them to my webpage for everyone to grab. I can also change the orange & black name to 'Hallo-Wonder' instead of 'Spooky Sailing' if that is preferred. Anyone?
And I'm also booked at Radisson the night before. It had always worked out great for us there.
I'm looking forward to the FE exchange. There wasn't one on our last cruise.
The meet-n-greet on our last cruise was scheduled for Deck 10 during the Sail-Away and it was just too crowded to find most other Dis'ers. The Promenade Lounge sounds like a great idea. (Although frankly, I'll walk around with a disboard-green sticker on my forehead if asked... even before my 1st margarita.)
We took the ship tour at the beginning of our 2nd cruise just to see where it went. It started at 2:45PM at the Deck 10 Fwd elevators and lasted about 30-45 minutes. It re-introduced us to all the public areas, and our guide, CM Martin (USA), was informative and friendly. (I wish it had included the bridge, though!)
Food is my favorite part of any activity - here are some things we found that I didn't see advertised:
1. You can order a WHOLE pizza from Pinnochio's Pizzeria (Deck 9, Goofy Pool) made to order and to take-away (back to your room, etc.) Our group did this after dinner one night (like 4-courses were not enough!)
2. If you get two large choco-chip cookies from Goofy's Gallery (Deck 9, Mickey Pool), you can sandwich the soft-serve ice cream (from the machines there) and make yourself a gooey sandwich... make sure you have a napkin though (and no one around you has a camera.)
3. The Quiet Cove Cafe has free treats (in the glass container at one end of the bar) at different times of the day. Yum.
4. If you are celebrating an anniversary or other event, ask your head waiter at dinner if you can order a complimentary anniversary cake for the next night. (It has a white chocolate ship on top.) One couple in our group recieved one after our head waiter overhead us talking about it one night. I can post a picture if you can't find one already on-line.
5. I've read in other blogs that DIS'ers have successfully gotten dinner tables set up next to each other (or with each other), but it wasn't explained how this is done with all the different dining rotations.
What else did I leave out?
