:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: We are doing the document happy dance!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Beth and Samantha picked them up yesterday from our travel agent - only 19 days until we're on a plane!

Can't wait to meet everyone! Big thanks to runskyhy/denversees4me/wilma-bride for all their hard work in getting everything organized.

See you all on the 29th. We'll all be wearing our HalloWonder matchy-matchy tees when we get to terminal so feel free to come and say HI!

Hi all
Happy Saturday from the way west coast ! Denver and I are in LA for the weekend and we just got back from the vet at the guide dog school..... The visit went well they sent out bloodwork for his anual tests and i got his health cert WOO HOOOO He is sleeping now as he says it is hard work on the streets of LA .... we live in A less busy area so when we come out here he really kicks it into high gear

sdchickie - how long did your doctor's office culture your son's test? I am no doctor, I teach the future doctors, but some friends in the medical field told me that the culture for Flu types A or B cultures out within minutes. The culture for Swine Flu takes about 3 days (too late for Tamiflu - which my prdiatrician won't give to kids under 15 anyway)! Since we start school so early here in SC, the flu is going around like crazy here and the symptoms are coming on quickly as you described - the good news is that the kids that I know that have gotten the flu only have about 3 bad days and then they are more like normal. My medical friends also told me that if you were born on or before 1972, there is a good chance that you are immune to the swine flu. Apparently there was a round of it then and if you were exposed then, you most likely won't get it now! I hope your son gets better soon and that no one else gets it - a good rule of thumb to go by is about 3 days. Once you have been around someone who is flu positive, if you're going to get it from that person, you will in +- 3 days. :wizard:

They didn't give him a culture, I took him to the after hours clinic and they told me that they weren't going to give him a culture there, that I would have to take him to his regular dr. for the test the next morning if I wanted him tested, but they did give him the Tamiflu prescrip. So the next morning I called his Dr. and they told me to not even bother bringing him in because they are no longer testing for it since everyone in this area is testing positive for H1N1 right now. I'm so glad I got him on the Tamiflu, his fever broke last night and he is feeling better already he's hardly coughing at all and he has his energy back. I just hope he continues to feel this good! Thanks for the info on the 3 day rule as far as getting sick although with it being all around this area I'm sure were being exposed everywhere we go. I work at my son's school and with all the sick kids there I'm concerned that I'll get it right before we are supposed to leave. Which btw is in

They don't have PhotoPass, because Disney doesn't run Shutters. I think there is an option to buy your photos on CD, but I think it's at an astronomical price.

Gary X

hey gary .... i forgot to tell you denvers nick name is WOOKIE thought you might like that being the star wars fan you are LOL

They do have a CD like Gary said, it costs around $270 for the 3 day cruise, you get all your picts from the cruise but none of the cute borders. I personally like the borders but if you don't care about them then the $270 doesn't seem too bad if you get alot of portraits done. I have heard conflicting stories about weather you can link more than one stateroom on a cd, if you have a large family or are traveling with a group that would be nice.
I know I've gone to the portrait places around here for the kids pictures and they have packages that cost that much and you don't get the copyright release.

 That's floridacruiser14!! I am very sorry! You should have been question marks!

Thank you for the correction! :thanks:

I've changed it... :badpc:

Note a few other mistakes/corrections now made (same files, same location)...

1. Cinderella&Dopey are no longer floridacruiser14

2. Corrected ages of winnyis' family members

3. Added Cheryl to floridacruiser14's family listing

4. Added the age of DCLunatic's son

PDF files hasn't changed though. Looks like I need to find a new job!

The ages of my childen are DD - 14 and DS 11
Havent been involved much in this thread lately. Swamped at work and then I just went on another cruise last week with 10 ladies so that preoccupied me. We have our docs and cant wait to be on the Wonder in 2-1/2 weeks.

Thanks for the info about the photo CD. $270 seems a bit steep if you can't add the cute borders - we'll probably pass on that. I'm excited (and a bit jealous) for those of you who are leaving so soon. I've got 16 more days - we won't head for Port Canaveral until 10/28. I hope everyone that has pre-cruise plans has a great time and I can't wait to meet you all onboard!

We do have two rooms but only one FE which will be at 6085. DD Lauren (12), DD Akeya (11) and DD Olivia (9) will be in rm 6083 and then
me, DH Dan and DD Cheryl (18) will be in the room with the FE 6085.
Thanks and the map looks great.
17 more days untl Lauren's birthday:cheer2: and then 21 days until our cruise with all of our girls.

Floridacruiser14, your cabins are right across from mine and since it is just my husband and myself cruising (no kids - they are in college, so too old anyway) we didn't participate in the FE, but I am excited to see the activity that will go on outside your doors!

Looks like you are Clemson Tiger fans? I graduated from there many moons ago, hopefully we'll run into you on the ship! Go Tigers!!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving everyone! Counting down the days, and just putting the finishing touches on our FE's. If anyone has the surname of "Florida Cruiser 14" could you please pm me with it so I can personalize their gifts. Hope everyone is busy packing away. Looking forward to getting away from work, cold weather, and meeting you all soon....

mjmahnke - we are in Marietta just above the 75/285 intersection - do we need need to have a 'Dismeet' before the cruise?!?! :rotfl:

mjmahnke--it's nice to hear who will be across the hall from us. Put out your FE anyways, you may just get a surprise. Hope you have a good trip.

We most certainly are Tiger fans! My Dad went to school there, but I opted to stay closer to home for love. :confused3 (What was I thinking) We do however really enjoy going to the games - even though this isn't our best season - still lots of fun! See you onboard!
