ROL dining package - fastpass counts as number 3?

Just so I'm clear, if I've got a ROL dining package this will hold my third pass so I can only book two for throughout the day? After ROL I'm then free to book an additional one (if there are any left) - correct?

No. Dining packages and FPs have nothing to do with each other.

Right, having the dining package ensures that you can use your 3rd FP for something other than ROL. You get your 3 FPs and priority seating at the show. It's not a bad way to go, especially if you were planning to eat at one of the dining package restaurants anyway.
