ROL and Nighttime Pandora Viewing

We will be at AK Tuesday, August 29th. We have FP+ to see ROL. Showtime is 8:45. The park closes at 9:30. Is there enough time to see the Pandora at night after ROL? We will be visiting it during the day but also wanted to see it at night. I don’t how long it will take to get out of the ROL show and to tour Pandora. Since it won’t be dark by the time we are supposed to enter for the ROL show it isn’t an option to view it before the show starts.

I'm facing the same dilemma in November by targeting a Saturday for our AK day. The park closes ridiculously early at 7PM leaving only 15 mins before park close after RoL. Not sure if it's worth juggling dining reservations to switch to another day (though with the RoL dining packages not released yet I could probably make something work).

This is good to know. I was hoping to do get a FOP FP at 6-7 p.m., then hightail it over to see Rivers of Light at 7:30 p.m. (Although right now the park is supposed to close at 7 p.m., that's still the listed time for ROL. Is that likely to do doable?

I will be at AK the same night as the OP and with similar concerns, the only difference is that I have the dining package instead of fastpass. If I am in Pandora at 9:30 when the park closes, not in line for a ride- just in the land, would I be able to linger there for a little while longer? Or will cast members start directing people to the exit right away?

There will still be guests in line to ride the Pandora attractions
at "closing time." You'll be able to linger a bit.

I can't answer your question, since I have the same one...but wanted to say "Hey!" We also have a FP+ for ROL on Tues Aug 29 and plan to head to Pandora afterward as well. Hope it works out, and we may (literally ) bump into each other!

Well you were right. Animal Kingdom Park closure was changed from 7PM to 8PM and with RoL still scheduled for 6:30PM we should have no trouble leisurely touring Pandora.

And, expect even a few more changes to the hours and/or events as the dates get closer.
