Was it addressed to you? Roku boxes cost anywhere from $50 to $100 and allow you to stream video through your high-speed internet connection to your TV.
You cant recieve it with out paying in full first. I just got ours and I love it. It has all kinds of channels. Right now I use hulu plus and netflix. So if someone sent it to you for xmas wow nice box to get.
I just installed my first Roku about 3 weeks ago and I'm in love. I've only been using it for Netflix so far and it's awesome. It's very easy to setup and start using. It took me about 20 minutes, including signing up at both the Roku and Netflix sites. No technie know-how required! Enjoy!

Do you find that the Hulu content differs a lot from Netflix to make it worth having both? Do you like one better than the other? I'm on Netflix, but haven't tried Hulu Plus yet.

Sorry to hijack...but I was wondering how Hulu plus differs from what I can watch for free on hulu on my laptop, is it the same stuff, just on tv vs computer?
In regard to "better for streaming," it probably depends on what you are comparing it to. I have the Roku XD and I think it's fantastic. Picture is excellent. I've heard you can also stream on the Wii, but the picture is not great.
The Roku box is a standalone box. It does not have any recording capabilities.
