Roger Rabbit

Now that I've tracked down Daisy I want to ask about Roger Rabbit for my boyfriend. He really loved the movie and would like to know if there's anything at WDW that has to do with it. Can you meet Roger or Jessica Rabbit? Is there even a mention of it anywhere? I don't recall much although I think I do remember something about Roger Rabbit at MGM at some time or another.

I haven't seen RR at a character greeting in years! For awhile he use to be at the end of one of the night time parades at the MK.

I know a few years ago Disney ended their contract with the company that owned RR...was that Warner Brothers? Just because I haven't seen him in many years doesn't mean someone else hasn't spotted him.RR was the first character I got my picture taken with on my 1st WDW trip in 1991,so I have a soft spot for him!

I like to know if anyone has seen him lately too...pppplleeeeaseeeeee!!

I love looking for characters, but I never seen Roger Rabbit anytime recently. I saw him back in 1998 at the American Pavilion at Epcot once. But from reading these boards, I haven't heard of anyone seeing him in the last few years. I think he is gone from the Disney World parks, as like Baloo said, it had something to do with permissions and copyrights and legal stuff like that.

The only thing I remember having to do with the movie is that there is a big sign at Pleasure Island that has Jessica Rabbit's picture on it.

I have what I think is a fairly comprehensive list of characters for autographs..and no Roger listed. Also, we didn't see him on our trip last year.

I don't know how long you're staying or at which hotel, but if you have a chance to run over to Pop Century they have a huge Roger Rabbit by the pool. It would at least make a cool picture.

Thanks guys for the info. That makes me sad. The only hope is that there is a RR at the pool at PC and a Jessica Rabbit at Pleasure Island. This makes me think that Disney still has a connection and there might be a slight possibility of seeing him. Fingers crossed.

You need to go to DL. They have the coolest RR Toontown Spin Ride in Mickey's Toontown!

He is far and away my favorite character.

Straitlover is right Ali you NEED to come to Disneyland. I live about 45 minutes away and I am an AP and have gotten quite a bit of Roger things there. Recently there has been a lot of Jessica items running about.

I think Roger is even in the end of the parade in Disneyland.
