ROFR Thread Oct to Dec 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

Trying so hard to be patient. This is our first purchase. Today marks day 14 since submitting to Disney and man am I ready to know. With the holiday I’m imaging it might take the full 30+ days.
Completely understand. It's like watching paint dry. I have to step away and put my focus somewhere else. Otherwise it would dry me nuts

It can be painful, but I wouldn’t worry so much about ROFR, just know it takes 30 days and then another 2-3 weeks to load the points, so you got another month or so. 8-)

A month or so it’s so bad. We are hoping for a trip the first week of June and first week of December. Luckily we are going for a 1 bedroom and from what I’ve read those are the last to go, and are open to a split stay.

Holidays do tend to put them behind schedule.
What do you think the reality of our timeline could be? Our broker said up to 120 days or early March we have our points and can book something. I’m trying to set my expectations on if we can get a 1 bedroom June 1-10. Ideally a split AKV and BRV or all AKV. We are open to ssr or okw but that’s option c and d.

I’d say very possible to have something available that works for you when points are finally loaded. Probably won’t take a full 120 days so that puts you into Feb to book, and as you said option C and D might be what you have to go with, but I wouldn’t be surprised to have something at AKV (not as likely at BRV, but you never know)

I notice that akv is going for way higher than when I bought earlier this year, is this due to time of year? Excitement for refurb?

120 days is unusually long. I have had some that took that long or more but that was a one off scenario. I think you will have points loaded in January

Almost everything is going for more right now. It's due to lack inventory on the market. In the next 60 days more will hit the market and selling prices will start to drop.

We passed! Only 15 days! I did update our total cost. I had put the cost due after we already put money into the escrow. Now it’s the full total.

PadensAtTheCastle---$110-$33500-270-AKV-Jun-1/24, 270/25, 270/26, 270/27- sent 11/11, passed 11/26

Title did warn us that ownership transfer and payoffs are stopped December 1-17 and no ownership transfers will happen during that time.

Low inventory, and October saw some higher cost rofr taken. Being our first contract we didn’t want to risk rofr. We actually offered $10 below asking and with the fully banked 2025 points we liked the contract.
