It can be painful, but I wouldn’t worry so much about ROFR, just know it takes 30 days and then another 2-3 weeks to load the points, so you got another month or so.

A month or so it’s so bad. We are hoping for a trip the first week of June and first week of December. Luckily we are going for a 1 bedroom and from what I’ve read those are the last to go, and are open to a split stay.

What do you think the reality of our timeline could be? Our broker said up to 120 days or early March we have our points and can book something. I’m trying to set my expectations on if we can get a 1 bedroom June 1-10. Ideally a split AKV and BRV or all AKV. We are open to ssr or okw but that’s option c and d.

I’d say very possible to have something available that works for you when points are finally loaded. Probably won’t take a full 120 days so that puts you into Feb to book, and as you said option C and D might be what you have to go with, but I wouldn’t be surprised to have something at AKV (not as likely at BRV, but you never know)

I notice that akv is going for way higher than when I bought earlier this year, is this due to time of year? Excitement for refurb?
