I wouldn’t use the word “fire sale”, but a sale.

oh, this IS sad!! but maybe you can find one that isn't as stripped for not a ton more per point.

I agree with this, I’ve seen contracts in the 150 point range that have full 24 and 25 points for only $10-20 higher that get through— I would consider focusing on the non-stripped contracts for slightly higher prices. You can always generally rent/transfer points for at least $12/pt as long as they aren’t within a few months of expiring.

Who knows why they take a contract. It’s possible that the unit it’s deeded to doesn’t have enough points in it to sell a deed and this gives them enough to sell a larger contract.

AKV is doing its rehab next year, so it's more likely that they're buying enough points so that they can take the requisite number of rooms offline during construction.

We have and agree 100% - the 5 minute walk to MK and short security line can't be beat. The refurb made me pull the trigger to finally own there.
