Oh boy, I'm excited and concerned at the same time! On one hand, we got a good deal relative to 6 months ago. On the other, how much lower will Disney let this stuff go for? We bought for many reasons including the fact that Disney typically holds its value.

What seems to be passing these days is similar to where we were in 2019, before the pandemic hit and before we saw the high ROFR activity of 2021 and 2022...which, IMO, is what contributed to people paying a lot more for SSR recently

I agree. I don’t think the last two years were normal for DVC, along with the broader economy. The DVC market is correcting itself and things will hopefully stabilize to a more gradual increase.

I'm not sure if my SSR with full DL at $103 or yours with 88.7% of DL at $100 is the better deal, but your is DEC use year (plenty of time to use that 408) while mine is MAR so I'll be hustling to use up the 1st batch. I was thinking the same lines, we are getting best of the deals for late 21 and 2022, but will the deals get EVEN BETTER in 2023 or stabalize again and this was just a Nov/Dec super sale situation.

They are both great deals as of today. You also made me realize I got my use year wrong. It is actually October. What does DL stand for?

The 2021 points were banked but expire 2/28/23 so
2022 points were also banked, which went into considering my offer. Not too low to hopefully pass ROFR, but more than if it wasn’t loaded.

I love this logic! In 3 to 6 months $90 per point will be $77.
