Ahhhh some of these are only a day or two before mine were submitted. And I lost the last five days of my life when my mom got hit by a car so at least waiting doesn't feel as long as I thought it would. I'm 50/50 on whether we'll get it or not but hoping i hear soon! (submitted 9/29)

Waiting on my BLT sent 9/26…maybe there is hope 🤞
I don’t think you ever shared what your numbers are. Unless it’s an international seller I don’t think anyone is really surprised right now that ROFRer monster is eating up most of the decent priced BLT contracts.

SSR at pre Covid prices 😳
yes, it makes me ponder which others will go down and how far down within the next year. There are also more discounts on the rental side as well (albeit for last minute deals) but I wouldn't be suprised if this continues especialy for lesser valued reservations. To boot, Disney itself is generating and keeping more and more cash and not engaging in ROFR as much; it seems like everyone all around is building cash and engaging in some sort of fiscal tightening for the forseeable future. For those with cash already and who are able to accumulate more cash within the next 3-6 months and are willing to wait for their pitch + negotiate well, my guess is that they will likely be able to "cash in" on very enticing deals in the resale market. Assuming a long-term hold, they can do very very well. Although it's really difficult to do, one would also have to consider where the "bottom" of the market might be before the ROFR monster swoops in again with a vengeance. Sigh. I feel addonitis bubbling up inside! Perhaps fiscally irresponsible but it's sooo tempting!

End of year usually offers the best deal. If you have the cash, buy a loaded(preferably 2x loaded) contract with seller paying for MF or even closing. Rent or use 2 years worth of points then sell in a few months. Did it last year with SSR and hopefully again with Poly.
I’m not surprised all 2042 resorts are starting to go down when 19- years left actually hits buyers. Then probably SSR and AKV unless the rumors Skyliner actually happens. But with Disney, everything takes 5+ years these days. Hopefully with Epic Universe breathing down Disney’s neck they’ll have to do something epic.

Thank you. She was moved into rehab yesterday where she should be for a few weeks. My sister isn't local and her boyfriend managed to get Covid right after she got hit (for the first time no less) so I have a bunch on my plate, but I managed to not check in for a few days and now we look like we're coming up on my date! Going to go scope out the updated thread!

I’m so sorry this happened to her. I wish her a speedy and easy recovery. This must be so difficult for you both. Hopefully, you can plan a trip to Disney with your mom when she gets better, using your shiny new DVC points!
