Doubt it passes, they tend to buy anything less than $95 (based on my watching the OCC). That being said, I was surprised my parent's were able to get a semi-stripped VGF for $120.

Never know. They'll have to sit on it for a couple of years before being able to resell it, and those points + next year's annual dues are not for nothing. It's probably worth about $100/point when you factor back in the stripped future points. I say... 51% chance it passes :)

passed 10/5! i was worried they'd slow down after the FOE, but i guess not. we were hoping to have access by early dec - looks like that may actually happen.
Fantastic!!! Congratulations :teeth:!

My parents decided to join the club and thought I would share for price discovery. I am impressed by the speed of ROFR waiver.
How lovely for your parents- great choice for their (first) contract :)! Amazing price, too :)!

Here is all the ROFR for the year, not sure stripped/banked are on each contract but gives you an idea (in anyone knows how to get that information it would be very illuminating). I also have the foreclosure prices that were > $100 if there is an interest. The one thing I need to do is put this in context of what passes. I didn't want to take the time to put every transaction in a spreadsheet. If I get the time I'll write a script with OCR tool to pull all the data from the filings but will take some time for me to figure it out.

This is great!

How can we tell which resort each one is for, and are all ROFR buybacks for the year included in this chart?

Nice job :daisy:!

As for the VGF, I have yet to see them buy any back. I would actually have been extremely surprised to see that one taken!

Those are all for BLT since that is where I own and where I am looking to add. If I ever get the time to automate from the filings, it could be expanded to all resorts. We still don't know how "loaded" the contract are but it is better than nothing.

YAY!

What I am really wondering right now then is- where on earth are people finding BLT at $62 per point?!?

Also interesting to see the unit number matches they buy back and combine, likely to fill a wait list.

Mandatory sale from divorce; want to dump it quick. Estate sale; inheritants don't want to pay the dues... Etc... DVD never waives ROFR at that price point so it doesn't really matter to us.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but you should hope that DVC take this via ROFR. With the new promo just rolled out today, you can get a 135-point PVB contract with the full complement of 2015 & 2016 UY points (if you choose Dec instead of Oct) at just less than $160/point directly through DVC. If you were to rent out those 270 points that are missing on the contract, you can potentially get a even better deal than $130/point. Plus, you get the full DVC membership thrown in at no extra cost (I know most resale purchasers know this going in and don't care to begin with) as well as no long waits on the sale process.
