That is what I am thinking too, I have not seen one taken yet. And my broker said they haven't had one taken either. I guess since they have so much of their own inventory to sell, they don't want to take on more. I just wish they wouldn't take the 30 days to do it, just send it back right away!

I think the guides do know how long the wait lists are. When we were looking to buy in late 2014 we went on the BWV wait list while watching the resale market. We were told if we would take any UY they could get us points in a week or two but if we wanted a specific UY (which we did) it might take a month or two because there were like 10 people ahead of us wanting the same UY. True to his word he called us about 6 weeks later when they had points avail. Also BLT has some crazy percentage of points assigned to the Feb UY (I think I read it is like 38% or something) so as a result other UY are harder to come by. It seems that right now Disney is taking a lot BLT contracts that are priced below $115 pp. We had one taken in Aug at $110 pp but passed in Sept at $115 pp even though it had an extra year's worth of points banked (2015).

I was unable to buy direct because there IS a long waitlist for BLT Dec and Oct contracts. My salesman didn't make that up, he would've loved to sell me a contract but couldn't.

Full points for 2016, but seller agreed to split MF for 2016 represents a savings of $582.
Only other interesting detail is that we can't close until February. This contract had full points for 2016 and was at a good rate (I think) and a location that's been having a harder time making it through (SSR). I was very worried about passing ROFR. I wonder if the delayed closing had anything with helping me pass ROFR.

I wanted more BLT points but Disney taking contracts at higher price than I'm willing to spend. Saw this contract (and knew DVC would not take it) and thought it was good enough deal to pull the trigger. Figured we could stay at PVB on occasion when only need a studio.

WOW!!! That is fantastic for PVB!!! They are really not bothering with these at all.
