Of course it did. From what I understand from the @pkrieger2287 ROFR report, no BLT contract was ROFRd in 2025... so we'll see

None were taken from that broker. We don’t know if it happened with other brokers.

When I first joined DVC in 2023 I was looking at OKW and the broker told me that the quit claim would be included with my documents at the closing and it was not negotiable. Signing it was a condition of the sale per Disney. I ended up buying poly, so I never saw the document.

So you're saying it's on the buyer of the contract to sign the quitclaim? I always thought the seller had to do it before making the actual sale. Interesting. I never received...unless I totally missed it...a quitclaim with my OKW purchase and I know the owner was original. So I assume then that they signed it back when Disney was asking owners to do so.

Purely out of curiosity I'd love to see that document. I'm sure it's in a giant pile of papers somewhere in their offices!

You can go look at Orange County Comptroller website. I’ve seen them filed there. I wish I could remember more about what they told me. That was my very first interaction with a broker and so much of it was a blur. Maybe they said that the seller was going to sign it I do remember them saying that any claim I had to an extension was going to be terminated at the closing.

Not the exceptional deal I wanted, but a good deal. Wife got bad news with her health... The emotiveness kicked in... so I pulled the trigger for an additional 100 pts at BLT. yolo.

Hoping the thread posts correctly but happy to adjust if not. I put in that we are sellers on this one in the “other” section and this was the generated thread! We finally decided to do direct DVC with the most recent round of incentives (and on our most recent trip). So, selling this one to offset the cost. We are sacrificing some points but decided it’s worth it for us (after swearing direct va resale could never be worth it lol). And feeling very fortunate that when we factor in all the points used we made it out without losing value (and maybe even making a little).
