Out of curiosity, any chance we can discuss that $225 "admin fee" that I'm sure a lot of you know about.

I've only bought once with Fidelity and once with the board sponsor but the closing costs were the same for both, so not sure that Fidelity's $225 fee is actually way out of line with what many others are charging.

I used to be annoyed by it. It effectively adds $2.25pp on a 100 point contract. But I have realized most of that brokers listings are almost always less pp listed than any other broker and they do have transaction coordinators that keep up with you during the sale which I assume the fee helps fund.

Ive seen some here and there where Im like yeah um no. I also always check the specific agent, some agents tend have better pricing than others.

2nd of my 3 small HHI contracts just sold and is off to ROFR! We do love HHI, but we tend to go in non-peak times, and we added on more direct RIV in June with the member cruise discount offered, so selling HHI to help pay for that unexpected add-on.

This feels like such a good trade up! BWV and BRV 1 bedrooms are not super hard to get. Take advantage of that 7 month window and the additional points/longer expiration!

Heck yeah! I bought into BLT earlier this year at $120 for 100 points. With all the new announcements, I am wanting more! Such a good price.

Not yet, but I will be as we listed all for sale. We only had 3 small contracts (25,50,50) and I've sold the 25 and one of the 50.

It definitely makes me sad, but I keep telling myself I don't need to own there to love it and visit it, lol.

I understand. We own 3 small contracts at DHHIR=25,25,50.

If you are not picky about room size, then you can normally find a room at DHHIR on cash or points at 7 months.

The announcement has me extremely excited for my BLT points! At $120, I feel it is a huge bargain even if the refurb isn’t going to live up to my Mary Blair expectations. I just really like refurbed rooms. In 10 years it will be a whole new park imo.

I’m feeling bittersweet about this! We just bought a second contract and added more points at BLT because we agree it’s the best value right now. Hubby was hoping we’d buying into CCV but the deals just weren’t there.

I just saw on DVC fan group that someone’s CCV contract was just ROFR’d. Did anyone else see that? It was a good deal but I’m surprised Disney took it. Anyone wanna speculate what that was all about?
