Are you sure that is THEIR address and not one that Disney assigned with a Direct sale? Disney protects the address of purchasers by using a stock address for all buyers. I wish all escrows would do this, we were super irritated when we found out Escrow recorded our home address on the Deed (the Buyer does not see the Deed until it's recorded). Too late to fix at that point, but I found it a terrible lack of privacy on their part - they also clearly indicated the purchase price, which is something I'd have preferred not shown as $ (it is obviously easy to calculate if needed) for the kids and whole world to see. Disney, frankly does Deeds better than the overpriced Escrows sometimes.I would be curious to know if there's any seller locations that ROFR favors. I know they don't scoop up international for whatever reason, but my AKV sellers are from Celebration, FL which seems to close for comfort![]()
You're right, it does say "for the purpose of this document" so it's not their address. It does point out a license and identification that was provided from a different state so that is most likely their state. I completely agree with you about protecting address and purchase price, that should be yours to share and unnecessary to post the whole thing. Which resort? Or are you only selling? You guys are killing me with the quick ROFR timelines, I'm on week 5 of waiting to hear from Disney.

I would double check that it for sure was sent over.I updated my post with the string. I'm the seller and I want my money!
I emailed the broker to check already, is there another way?I would double check that it for sure was sent over.
Then be sure to ask Escrow for a copy of the Deed before it is signed and recorded. That is the time to request they not use your address and include the $ amount of the purchase (overly clearly) on the document. Otherwise, you'll only know after it is recorded and by then it's too late. There is no way to avoid a public record (the good and bad of a Deeded interest) but you can ask for reasonable discretion. You're right, it does say "for the purpose of this document" so it's not their address.
