They haven't really been ROFR'ing PVB contracts, but I saw this one on another message board the other day which made me nervous. She said her broker was shocked because they hadn't had a PVB taken in forever. I'm also surprised since it doesn't have most of the 2017 points, but I guess they needed that unit to combine with something they already had.

PVB, June (300) 2017 - 47, 2018 - 300, $128/pt, sent 1/23/18, TAKEN 2/16/18 - Fidelity

Even though that sucks, can you format that with the link on post #1 so it can go on the list? It would be good to have that in the list! $128 is considerably less than $220, so not shocking... still a bummer though.

He's such a greedy mouse, sometimes.

This one was a no-brainer for them to buy back. 300 points coming available in June so they can immediately sell it. After closing costs and such, Disney can flip this around at a $80 - $85 per point markup and make 25k+ almost overnight

After seeing recent OKW that didn't make it through ROFR, I'm really expecting the worst with mine:

If it goes through, I'll be ready to celebrate! But either way, I'd just like to know so that I can move forward, and find another contract if necessary. I know I've already missed out on other quality contracts while rolling the dice on this one.

I'm freaking out over here. It seems like the contract (our first!) was submitted to the ROFR about two years ago, not two weeks ago. Alas, it also seems like the process is moving rather slowly for lots of folks. Our fingers remain firmly crossed that this fully loaded contract sneaks through!

Sorry about that! Just go for another. It's annoying but ultimately not a big deal.

Sorry to hear the bad news :-( It was totally worth a try though... every now and then a really good deal slips through! It is frustrating to have to start over again, especially when they take a long time to decide!

I need to update my information as I just found out the contract was sent out today, not the date I signed it due to corrections made on contract. This is perfectly OK by me as to hopefully get past the 2/25/18 change deadline. Same contract, different submit date.

You guys!!!! I can't believe it, but we PASSED! I gave up hope that we'd receive any news about ROFR today. Definitely wasn't expecting to get an email from our broker this late 9pm (CST). I kind of want to wake up the kids to tell them ... nah bad idea. I'll just do a happy dance by myself. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the rest of those still waiting.

From offer to points available to book was only 49 days (1/4/18 was the offer, 2/22/18 points were in the account and able to be used.) Used the banked 2016 points and some 2017 points to book a cabin at Copper Creek for the first 2 nights of a July trip before we head to OKW for the rest of the trip. A splurge indeed, but we are definitely looking forward to the stay!

You won’t be able to close before after the banking deadline. You might want to get the seller to bank the 2017 points. The paperwork would properly need to be redone.
