Great contract. My broker sent me this one before they listed it, but December didn't work for us. I knew it would be a great find for whomever got it! Good luck with ROFR!

Funny, when I first started this process I would have never thought December would work for us. Then after lots of reading and educating myself (thanks Disboards!) I discovered it is perfect for us.

Great news received today! Possible it was sent to ROFR as early as 3/10, but that was the date I sent in the signed contract and 3/13 was the date broker indicated it was signed and sent to ROFR. So we heard back super quick! Broker said I should receive closing docs from closing company by Apr. 3rd.

Finally after we lost the first we had a change of heart to go for less points at our favorite resort.. and we passed! Worth paying a little more for me to pass since I have 2016 points available too which hold value if I had wanted to sell them to rent.

Now I'm going to be super impatient on the rest of the process

Side note the points that came 2016 December on my contract, does anyone know when they have to be banked by so they remain available from 2017 Dec to 2018 Dec? I can ask the agent and Google but figured someone here may know of the top of their head.

You cannot bank within the last 4 months of your use year so for a Dec UY it would be by July 31st

Congrats on passing ! We have a dec UY also and banking deadline is 31 July. When we recently contracted for the 50 I made sure they thought we could close before the banking date and was told yes we should close end of May at the latest.

It's a big purchase for a long period of time. Best to get what you really want!
