There's something going on here with Saratoga, it's weird. Someone else just reported that they too have been told at the DVC Sales Centre some revamp is coming. Apparently they were even told Murphy beds are going to be put in, in the revamp. So that's 2 people now.

Murphy beds aren't an unusual re-vamp, though. BCV and BWV just got them in their re-vamps.

Yes, correct. Nearly a quarter of SSR are being bought though, and they seem to be the ones with 2017 points. Shame we can't get stats in terms of percentage SSR bought back with full 2016 points. It is bound to be higher than 25%, but what- 50%, 80%? Who knows. The agents could tell us...

My agent said SSR is being bought back a lot right now because of the Springs, but I really don't know if it is that much higher than other resorts. SSR is 4 times larger than BCV, so there are a lot more contracts being sold, so you hear about a lot more of them being taken. By my calculations, 25% of the BCV contracts listed here have been taken as well. And, I read that the wait lists for points at BCV and GCF are so long, that DVC has frozen those two lists. Of course, it could be that the price differential for those two resorts is just not large enough to make it worth their time...who knows?

But, I do believe ROFR's are 4X higher than last year, and that is scary for all of us...no matter where you are buying.

The exception might be VWL...as Disney will not be so interested in that one right now.

Wow, all the BLT were much higher than mine ($106).... nail biting!!!!

I had one go through a few weeks ago for 160 points @ $108. Now I'm about to submit one for BWV and I'm stressed all over again!

...but I had my BLT contract pass in the month of Feb at $105 for 320 points and loaded. I think I'm going for the monkey with a dart board theory

These that are taken are all over the board. Someone else had a BLT $99pp contract pass recently, but another one had a $113pp one taken. The contracts were very similar in most regards. Who knows?!?

Ugh! I am so sorry! I heard it is calendar days. I would give your broker a call.

I heard (years ago), that if they don't take it within 30 days, the contract becomes yours.

Sorry to hear we are still waiting from 2/3 for an SSR with no points until December 2018 at $75pp for 160 pts. I'm not too hopeful at this point.. but why can't I be put out of my misery too! Good luck on your hunt for SSR if you continue!

Well a surprise to me... Just found out my submission was delayed from what I was communicated on of 2/3 due to seller having to update something to 2/10.... Not sure that makes any difference but would have been nice to know earlier still not feeling too good about passing

Congrats!! I'm December use month and 160 pts in December 2018... 75$ so no idea of the their logic but fingers crossed. Now I was submitted 2/10 apparently so hopeful my time is coming to hear!

The unit number/use year makes the most sense. I've had 2 contracts taken so far and I don't know the unit # of either. How do we find this out?

You are able to see it by searching the Orange County recorder's site using the seller's name as grantee. But by the time you've learned the seller's name you are already into the ROFR process.

For the curious you can use Disney as the grantee to look at what they've taken back, but you have to sort through a lot of mortgages filed on Poly units where Disney shows as the grantee too. Also foreclosures show up w/ disney as the grantee. Be sure to limit the time you are looking at to just a couple of months, otherwise you'll pull thousands of documents.
BTW, that's how I learned I'd closed on my AKV resale purchase a few years ago, I was casually checking the OC site waiting to hear about my very delayed closing & boom, found my name on my recorded deed .
I've already found the VGF deed on the OC site I'm in ROFR on now, so I know my unit # if I'm lucky and it passes ROFR.
