I believe you are correct. I sent the offer assuming the points were toast and can't be banked. We're not planning on using the points until next year so to us, the value was the 230 points we would bank this year, use half (next year), and continue to roll forward to average out around 345 points per year for maybe the first two/three years. After that, who knows? We may purchase more by that time.

I cannot believe sellers don't rent the points out and just let them expire worthless??? Leaving thousands of dollars on the table...what a waste smh

Me too...maybe that person could have retired a few months earlier and spent more time with family. We know DVC owners place a high value on family and leisure. Definitely sad

Right??? Or at least the seller in @Nxsteven's case could have taken the 3 minutes to log in and bank the '22 points so only the old banked '21 points would expire.
