Well, here we go again. This will be our 6th add-on and 4th add-on to BLT specifically. This is $20 more per point than our last add-on spring of 2014. These prices are getting out of control. At least we're getting a loaded contract, not fully, but some banked points and all current use year (since we're now into August).

I realized I likely overpaid. I put myself in a corner when I bought Oct. use year originally. There are just so few out there. I would have preferred a more "reasonable" price like $120-125, but with how slow the purchase process has gotten, I didn't want to waste time haggling. Oh well... we'll still get a great "return" on it and are excited to be in a place so close to MK with a 2yo in tow.

Woo hoo, mates! Just got the email that our contract was sent on to Disney for ROFR this morning! This is our first attempt at joining the DVC family after years of much wishy-washiness! Now the nervous, anxious, impatient waiting begins. Ears crossed!

07/31/2015 - Offer made
08/01/2015 - Offer Accepted
08/04/2015 - Contract received, signed, and returned
08/05/2015 - Sent to ROFR

Good luck! I think I looked at this contract! Now I know who I battle for August use year ... Actually, we typically don't look for contracts larger than 100 points - you just never know when the flexibility will be needed. Of course, we've overpaid in closing costs because of purchasing this way.

Our second contract. First was SSR for 150. Really tough to find Oct use year.

Yea, when the first purchase of BWV was made back when it was still selling, Use Year didn't mean anything to us and we just took what was given. August isn't terrible, but there are others that are better. On the bright side, I think you're safe from ROFR and you shouldn't have any 2015 MF! Good luck to you as well.

They usually happen on specific days (Tuesday?). They don't review ROFR everyday.

FYI: My agent said that Mondays and Fridays seemed to be particularly busy on ROFR. Disney waived with a few days to go.

I'm so sad, I was going to post in this thread again, but it's been coming up to two weeks since the offer was accepted and the sellers haven't returned their paperwork, nor can the broker get a hold of them . Boo.

Unfortunately, we know how you feel. We had an offer accepted, signed the contract, and the sellers changed their minds. Luckily, a few days later we had another offer accepted and are now in ROFR. Hopefully this one has a better outcome. This is our first time making it this far. I hope things work out for you~

Going to be tight! Based on current timelines, 60 days from offer to estoppel and another 14-21 days to get points loaded. Probably mid-October. Good luck!
