My inlaws put in a bid of $78/pt on SSR a few days after us and the mouse took it yesterday. I'm really surprised Disney bought it at that high of a cost especially seeing what has passed in the past few months alone. $78- $16,130-200-SSR-- feb- 400/15,200/16,sent 7/29 taken 8/28. They already bounced back and offered at OKW but just thought I'd share. Now they have to wait another 30 days :hourglass

Edited to fix points/yr. realized I had them wrong. -Leah

It looks like they had 200 2013 Pts. and received another 200 Pts. in February. Who paid the dues for the points? If it was the seller then the price was really cheap.

The seller had paid the 2014 dues. I did think it was a good price given the extra points. I guess without the MF it's more attractive to Disney. I had just thought that was a high per point price for them to take.

Edit: I just realized I was wrong on the 2013 points after talking to them. The contract had 0 2013 points, 200 2014 points (seller pays MF) and those were the ones that got banked to 2015. Sorry for the misinformation!

First contract! Keeping my fingers crossed.

$77-$15,905-200-BWV-Sep-91/'14, 200/'15, 200/'16-sent 8/29

Good luck ... I have a BWV contract that went in the same day as yours...100 points - 85 a point - however it had 100 banked points from 2013 and all points forward.

We both need some pixie dust

Here's hoping we'll be neighbors soon!

Wow, I just noticed same use year too..................Hopefully we both pass..

More pixie dust please, stat!

I see three other contracts in ROFR for BWV that were submitted in August so I guess we're going to learn a bit about how the mouse is handling things.

Wow congrats!! So funny I had an SSR submitted on the same day but higher per point and they took it away. The mouse sure is a funny one.. but I'll be finding another one soon!! :) Congrats again!

I saw your post and was confused myself. Maybe because it was fully loaded?

Congrats DsnyBob and unchefreak!

Congrats to Dsnybob, undchefreak, and everyone else that passed today. This is my first post here and I am thrilled to be saying that we passed as well!!! I'm not superstitious, but DW didn't want me to post until we made it through ROFR, so here are the details...

$65-$11,550.20-160-AKV-DEC-0/’13, 160/’14, 160/’15, 160/’16-sent 8/4, passed 9/2, buyer pays 2014 MF and admin fee, seller pays closing.

:cool1:

I was surprised that higher $ purchases did not pass. :confused3 I'm guessing that DVC has a hard time taking stripped contracts because they can't sell them right away. For instance, if they had taken the contract I purchased they would have to sit on it until June 2016.

$78-$12,155-150-SSR-Dec-4/’12, 140/’13, 142/’14, 150/’15 - sent 8/5, passed 9/2, seller pays ’14 dues, buyer pays cc

One step closer to becoming an official DVC member!
